But whose business was that of? Was it his fault that those old fuckers only knew how to do routine traffic stops and hadn't seen a treadmill since their wives stopped pretending to moan in bed?

Other than being able to strong arm The Boundless into bringing Amunet and the others along—despite Amunet's not-so-subtle attempts to avoid that fate—Grey practically had control of nothing else.
