Chapter 24 - 24. From Guilt to War

Chahat was sitting on the bed, crying uncontrollably. Tears kept streaming down her face as every single word that Myra had said echoed again and again in her mind. It felt like those harsh words were piercing her heart repeatedly. Somewhere deep inside, Chahat had started blaming herself for everything that had happened.

Just then, Aarav entered the room. He saw her in that broken state and immediately walked towards her. Sitting beside her, he gently tried to calm her down.

"Why are you crying for someone who doesn't even realize her own mistakes?" Aarav said softly but firmly. "She only thinks about herself."

Chahat wiped her tears, but her voice was still trembling. She shook her head and said,

"No, Aarav… I am wrong. I did wrong with her. I didn't think about her even once. I fell in love with you… I started building a new life with you… and somewhere, I forgot about her."

Her words were filled with guilt.

Meanwhile, on the other side…

Myra reached her house, completely shattered. Her steps were slow, her eyes swollen with tears, and her heart was filled with pain.

As she entered, she saw her family. For a moment, hope sparked inside her. She rushed towards her mother, trying to hug her, seeking comfort.

But her mother pushed her away.

"What are you doing here?" her mother said coldly. "Just leave. We don't even want to see your face after what you've done. You have ruined our name."

Before Myra could say anything… the door was slammed shut right in front of her.

That sound echoed in her heart like something breaking forever.

Tears rolled down her cheeks as she stood there, helpless and alone.

With nowhere to go, Myra slowly walked to a nearby park. She sat on a bench, holding herself together as much as she could… but eventually, she broke down completely.

"I have nothing left…" she whispered through her tears.

"I lost the modeling contest… I lost Aarav… I lost my childhood best friend… and now… even my family."

Her voice cracked as she cried harder.

For a moment, she truly felt empty.

But then… something inside her started changing.

Her tears slowly stopped.

Her expression turned serious.

Her pain began turning into anger.

"No…" she said, clenching her fists.

"I didn't do anything wrong."

Her thoughts shifted.

"It was Chahat… she was always coming between me and Aarav. I was right about her from the beginning."

Her breathing grew heavier.

"She took advantage of my situation… my helplessness… and stole my love from me. She took my place in his life."

Her eyes now burned with determination.

"But I am not someone who gives up so easily."

She stood up from the bench, wiping her tears with strength instead of weakness this time.

"I will take back my place in that house… no matter what it takes."

There was a dangerous calm in her voice now.

"I will not lose."

And with that… Myra walked away, no longer just broken—

but transformed.

What once was pain… had now become a storm waiting to rise.
