A mad scientist known as Dr. E is using the Rubies to create shadow-controlled animals, build unstoppable machines, and hunt for ultimate power. With his friends at his side, Nico must race across islands, cities, and secret fortresses to find the Phantom Rubies before Dr. E does.

But new enemies are rising.
