Chapter 99 - Chapter 99: Eternal Bastion — Hogwarts Shall Never Fall! The Dark Lord’s Fear

"Avada Kedavra!"

"Crucio!"

"Imperio!"

Spells exploded across the sky.

Not as incantations—

but as a cataclysm.

A tidal wave of destruction.

Black. Red. Green.

Light swallowed the heavens as countless curses poured down like a storm upon Hogwarts.

The Breaking Point

"Hold the line!"

Professor McGonagall's voice tore through the chaos.

"Channel everything into the shield!"

Dumbledore.

Flitwick.

Sprout.

The Order.

All of them—

pushing their magic to the limit.

BOOM—

The first wave struck.

The castle trembled violently.

Students were thrown off their feet.

Cracks spread across the great protective barrier—

like shattered glass.

It was failing.

Wave after wave followed.

Giants hurled flaming boulders.

Dementors swarmed, draining its power.

The shield groaned.

Fractured.

It was about to collapse.

His Arrival

Then—

at the very edge of despair—

a figure appeared.

At the top of the Astronomy Tower.

Black robes.

Unmoving.

Unshaken.

Lucian.

Every eye turned toward him.

Inside the castle.

Outside the walls.

Even Voldemort.

The Spell Beyond Magic

Lucian raised his hand.

A thought.

A concept.

Not defense—

but law.

A barrier not of energy…

but of absolute principle.

Eternal Bastion.

He spoke:

"This place… forbids all harm."

The Light

Golden radiance erupted.

Not bright—

but sacred.

It spread like dawn breaking the end of the world.

Warmth filled every heart inside the castle.

Fear vanished.

Hope returned.

Then—

a pillar of light shot into the sky.

It expanded.

Unfolded.

Until—

a vast golden dome enclosed all of Hogwarts.

Perfect.

Untouchable.

Absolute Defense

The next wave of attacks arrived.

And vanished.

No explosion.

No resistance.

Just—

erasure.

Curses dissolved on contact.

Fire lost its malice and faded.

Blades of magic disappeared without trace.

Nothing—

left a mark.

The Realization

"It's not blocking them…"

A Death Eater trembled.

"…it's removing them."

Their magic still existed.

They could feel it.

But its effect—

was gone.

Stripped.

Deleted.

As if "harm" itself—

was not allowed to exist.

Inside the Barrier

Silence.

Then—

a realization spread.

As long as he stood—

Hogwarts would never fall.

Outside the Barrier

Panic.

Real panic.

Not fear of death—

but fear of meaninglessness.

Their power…

was useless.

Voldemort

Through Nagini's eyes—

He saw it clearly.

This was not magic.

This was law.

Higher than his.

Beyond his reach

His body trembled.

Not rage.

Fear.

True fear.

"…Impossible…"

His voice cracked.

"There is no such magic…"

But he knew.

This wasn't magic anymore.

It was something else.

Something he could not understand.

And for the first time in decades—

Lord Voldemort

felt completely—

powerless.
