Chapter 484 - 484

"Simmons, Ada has already been tied up by me. Now it's time to fulfill the promise from just now and settle the grievances between us."

"Drop the gun and surrender quietly. If you do, I might not have to break your legs. Don't try to threaten me with that Blond-haired girl; it won't work on me!"

After dealing with Ada, Carla didn't hesitate to immediately point her gun at Simmons in front of her, threatening him in a flat tone.

"..."

Simmons, having snapped back to his senses, looked at Carla with a gloomy expression. He hadn't expected her to turn on him so quickly; he had thought they could chat for a bit to stall for time.

But looking at it now, this woman Carla had no intention of giving him that chance.

Thinking of this... Simmons' eyes darted around. Carla was right; Sherry, the Blond-haired girl hostage, was indeed useless now.

If that was the case...

the only path left for him was... to run!!!

"Carla, you can have this Blond-haired girl. Don't get cocky; you and Ada are destined never to escape my grasp."

"When the time comes, I'll put you both on my bed to play with. Two Adas—I'm really looking forward to it!"

Without hesitation, the moment he thought of this sole escape route,

Simmons decisively shoved Sherry toward Carla. Using this opening, he immediately turned with his handgun and bolted, not forgetting to mock Carla as he left, still spouting his pipe dreams.

Bang! Bang! Bang!—!!!!

Watching Simmons bolt, Carla hurriedly raised her handgun and fired, but unfortunately, Simmons was as slippery as an eel and ran very fast. Not a single bullet hit him.

Instead, the hostage Sherry, who had been pushed forward, was accidentally wounded.

A bullet grazed Sherry's thigh, shearing off a piece of flesh. Sherry grimaced in pain, but luckily she had the G-Virus; otherwise, it would have been true agony.

Da-da-da...

After Simmons rushed out the door, he didn't hesitate for a second, immediately sprinting toward the elevator. He didn't even notice Javier behind him, who had just finished slaughtering the C-Virus monsters.

Reaching the elevator in the blink of an eye, Simmons impatiently pressed the button, wanting to escape this hellhole. He didn't notice that the elevator numbers were slowly rising, quickly reaching F16, and the doors slowly opened right in front of him.

Without time for hesitation, Simmons decisively rushed in, only to be knocked flat on the ground by two figures.

His head throbbed. Simmons wanted to start cursing, but when he looked up, he ran into the two people he least wanted to see.

These two people were none other than Leon and Helena!!!

They had thought the first floor of the hotel building would be full of zombies,

but when Leon and Helena arrived, they found that the zombies in the first-floor lobby had all been cleared out. Bloodstains were everywhere.

Thus, without any obstacles, Leon and Helena took the elevator, intending to go to the building's rooftop.

They never expected that as soon as the elevator doors opened, they would encounter the face they had been thinking about day and night—Simmons, the criminal they had been hunting for so long. It was truly dramatic!

"Simmons?!" +2

Both Leon and Helena exclaimed with expressions of disbelief on their faces.

They hadn't expected the criminal they wanted to capture to be right in front of them. It was truly a case of searching far and wide only to find it at home.

It seemed the VIP that the helicopter was coming for was Simmons, this Senior Security Advisor. At this thought, a fierce light suddenly flared in the eyes of Leon and Helena.

Without any hesitation, Leon stepped forward quickly and delivered a vicious soccer kick to Simmons' stomach.

With a 'thud,' Simmons was sent sliding across the floor like a curled-up shrimp until he hit the hallway wall.

Pain flooded Simmons' entire body, and his face instantly turned ugly.

Damn it, what rotten luck. It was literally jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Simmons couldn't understand why he could be so unlucky!

"Talk...!"

"Simmons, did you mastermind the Bio Outbreak incident in Tall Oaks City? Did you secretly carry out the terrorist operation to assassinate President Adam?"

"Did you kidnap Helena's sister to threaten her? Did you pin the blame for killing President Adam entirely on Helena and me? Did you?!!!"

The moment he saw the culprit, Leon's emotions became exceptionally volatile.

He couldn't help it; he had suffered inhumane torment these past few days, facing what was arguably the most difficult crisis of his career.

To clear his name, Leon had crossed half the globe to reach Lanxiang City in HK, all to capture this damn bastard Simmons and prove his innocence.

Now that the man was finally caught, it was hard for Leon not to be emotional. Even Helena, standing beside him, had a face full of dark fury.

Toward this animal who had caused her sister's death, she felt no pity whatsoever. If it weren't for the fact that Simmons had to stay alive to prove their innocence, Helena probably wouldn't have been able to stop herself from stabbing this beast to death with a dagger long ago.

While questioning him, Leon hauled Simmons up from the ground like a dead dog and firmly locked his hands in handcuffs.

He then grabbed him by the neck and began questioning and cursing him incessantly, desperate to get an answer from Simmons' mouth.

In response, Simmons, who had given up all hope, felt only despair.

He hadn't expected his hope for survival to be shattered by these two jinxes, Leon and Helena. The elevator door was right there, only a few steps away,

yet two enemies had rushed out of it. What wretched luck. Thinking of this, Simmons looked at the furious Leon, and pulled a cold smirk from the corner of his mouth.

He gazed at Leon with a look of mocking ridicule, but didn't say a word, intending to use a silent, 'playing dead' attitude to completely infuriate his enemies, Leon and Helena!

"..."

"Speak!!!"

Seeing Simmons playing dead, Leon reached the end of his patience. A flash of rage appeared on his face, and he clenched his fist, punching Simmons hard in the face.

Bang!

With a dull thud, he instantly made Simmons' nose bleed. But the despondent Simmons couldn't be bothered to care about a trivial nobody like Leon.

After all, in Simmons' eyes, a senior agent of the US Government was indeed little more than a lowly laborer compared to a Senior Security Advisor and the leader of the Family Organization like himself.

Therefore, facing Leon's questioning, Simmons was too lazy to answer. He would rather talk to people like Ada and Javier than explain himself to these two lowly commoners, Leon and Helena.

It was like the CEO of a large listed company going bankrupt and not paying his employees' wages. When an employee comes to demand payment, the CEO would rather explain things to the investors he still owes money to than to an ordinary employee.

This was Simmons' philosophy of dealing with people; those without status or position didn't even have the right to speak in front of him.

"Leon..."

"Long time no see. Let him go. If you want evidence to prove your innocence, you can look inside the room. Simmons has a laptop with him."

"The evidence of his crimes might be hidden inside. Instead of beating him, you'd be better off searching that laptop for evidence. He won't explain anything to you because he's nearly reached the point of despair..."

At that moment, Javier, his clothes tattered and covered in blood, slowly walked over from down the hallway.

Seeing the familiar Leon and Helena, Javier gave a casual greeting and offered his advice.

By now, Javier had reverted to his normal human appearance,

though he was covered in an unreasonable amount of blood. After all, slaughtering those C-Virus monsters had taken quite a bit of effort, so more blood had splattered on him, making his appearance somewhat disheveled.

At the same time, Javier could also see the look of despair in Simmons' eyes.

It made sense. Although he was a complete scumbag, he had been tormented repeatedly by those two women, Ada and Carla.

Finally, having managed to get a chance to escape, he was caught by these two fated jinxes, Leon and Helena.

It was simply too unlucky.

His last sliver of hope had been extinguished.

It was quite normal for Simmons to not want to answer.

At this moment, Simmons' mood was probably something like 'Just destroy everything, I'm tired.'

"Javier...?!"

"How are you here? Wait... how do you know about Helena and me being framed?!"

Only then did Leon and Helena notice there was another living person in the hallway. Seeing Javier's face, Leon couldn't help but look shocked.

He hadn't expected Javier to be here, let alone know clearly about him being framed. Since the incident in Spain, Leon and Javier had almost never met.

Thinking back, it had been nearly seven or eight years. Time really flies; Leon himself had gone from a handsome youth to a handsome middle-aged man with a weathered look and heavy stubble.

On the other hand, Javier, looked exactly the same as he did seven or eight years ago, without any change at all.

This greatly surprised Leon. They say no one can escape the erosion of time, but it seemed this law of nature had no effect on the Javier before him.

"That's a bit complicated to explain."

"Anyway, all you need to know is that I have my own information channels. Hurry up and bring Simmons over; there's another guest in the room who needs to be attended to."

To this, Javier didn't offer much explanation.

Instead, he had Leon and Helena escort Simmons inside. Javier himself wiped the blood from his face and slowly walked into Room 1605.

Relying on his superhuman perception, Javier clearly sensed Carla's presence. They had caught Simmons, but that woman Carla had not been captured yet. So, if they wanted to sit down and talk properly, they had to catch Carla first.

"Guest...?"

Leon didn't understand Javier's words, but he still obediently dragged the dog-like Simmons up from the ground and followed Javier.

Even though he didn't know what it meant, as long as it was like what Javier just said, and they could find evidence of Simmons' crimes on the laptop to prove their innocence, Leon didn't care whether this bastard Simmons lived or died.

Before long, Javier reached the doorway, and at a glance, he saw Carla in the room preparing to make a move on Ada.

After all, the moment she realized Simmons had escaped, she intended to just kidnap the woman, Ada, and leave. Regardless of that pair, she was determined to take at least one of them with her.

But Carla had overestimated her J'avo Demon Squad; even though they had mutated into C-Virus mutant monsters, they had been wiped out by Javier in just ten minutes.
