Chapter 481 - 481

Leon had only two spare magazines left for his handgun, and the sniper rifle in his hand had only five rounds remaining. The situation was extremely dire.

Helena, beside him, was in a similar state of poverty. The satchel on her shoulder contained only some medical hemostatic bandages; with their resources nearly exhausted, they decided to take a gamble on the rooftop of the hotel building.

"Beep, beep, beep...!!!"

Pulling up the rear rolling shutter door of the grocery store, Leon drove a small electric moped, with his partner Helena perched precariously behind him as they wobbled out.

It wasn't as majestic as the motorcycles ridden by Javier and the others—it even looked a bit ridiculous—but a horse that can be ridden is a good horse, and a donkey that can carry weight is a good donkey.

Though the electric moped was petite, its speed was remarkable, quickly carrying Leon and Helena through the zombie horde. The zombies on the street saw them, trying to catch up quickly, but none were as fast as the electric moped. In the blink of an eye, they crossed the chaotic streets and arrived at the entrance below the hotel building.

After all, it was only about a kilometer away; they finished the journey easily in less than two minutes. Even without the moped, they could have reached it on foot within five minutes.

"Wait... Someone arrived here before us? Could it be the people that the helicopter on the roof is meant to pick up?"

At that moment, upon reaching the hotel entrance, Leon and Helena spotted two motorcycles parked outside.

One was a racing bike and the other a vintage motorcycle—the very vehicles previously used by Javier, Sherry, and Ada. Looking at the expensive motorcycles outside, Helena and Leon immediately connected them to the helicopter making an emergency landing on the roof, instantly realizing the connection...

On the other side—on the F16 floor, facing ten C-Virus mutant monsters plus a mutated Compound Eye Demon soldier, Javier didn't hesitate for a second and immediately entered his G2 state. Just like William Birkin before him, this state represented the degree of enhancement the G-Virus provided to the host's body.

If it reached one hundred percent, then Javier might truly turn into a Tyrant. Whether he could maintain his sanity then was uncertain, but Javier could easily handle the fifty-percent mutated G2 state.

Back at the underground G Virus Research Institute in Raccoon City, William, in his G1 state, aside from a strong desire for reproduction, could still maintain his sanity.

Even half of his head and face remained human. In the G2 state, William still maintained a faint sanity; although a new head had grown, the human head still existed.

It was only upon entering the G3 state that William's human features completely vanished. As for the G4 and G5 states, they were the pure will of the G-Virus—hideous forms manifested for the sake of survival.

However, Javier possessed a better aptitude than William. After all, Javier had achieved perfect fusion without side effects or rejection.

Therefore, whether it was the 50% G2, the 70% G3, or even the 90% G4, Javier could maintain his sanity and revert to human form. He was only unsure about the 100% G5 state.

Thus, Javier's current power was formidable. It was for this reason that he dared to challenge these C-Virus mutants. At the same time, the G-Virus possessed a very dominant and powerful cheat-like bug: infinite evolution.

Much like Agito, it possessed the power of infinite evolution. Therefore, G5 was not necessarily the upper limit for the G-Virus. It could still continue to evolve into G6, G7, G8, G9, and so on.

This was one of the reasons why the G-Virus remained among the top-tier powerful viruses in the history of Resident Evil.

Superb regenerative capabilities and the power of infinite evolution—these two powerful foundations ensured the G-Virus would never become obsolete.

Unlike the Plaga parasite, the T-Virus, the T-Abyss Virus, the T-Phobos Virus, and even the Ouroboros Virus and C-Virus before him, which were relatively mediocre, they would be immediately phased out once the 'version' updated.

Those viruses either had low ceilings or were too limited. In Javier's mind, the G-Virus, the progenitor virus, and the T-Veronica Virus had always been ranked as equals. The progenitor virus was the original virus.

Though it seemed basic, currently no one had fully researched it, nor had anyone evolved it to its extreme.

It was one of the viruses with a very high individual potential ceiling; after all, all virus branches in Resident Evil originated from the progenitor virus strain.

And while T-Veronica's power was gradually falling behind—it wasn't even a match for the upgraded C-virus—the power of biological flames was no longer rare, but the T-Veronica Virus possessed a super-infectivity that other viruses lacked.

Once it spread, it could infect the entire globe at a terrifying speed within just a few days. The ability to swallow the Amazon Rainforest in an instant—this terrifying infection speed was incomparable to any other virus.

Including the current C-Virus, which actually required missiles for delivery and whose only source of infection was the Beauty Beast B.O.W.

If Carla hadn't created the Chaos Zombie, infectivity would be the C-Virus's greatest flaw because it lacked an independent method of infection.

Thus, in Javier's heart, it couldn't compare to the T-Veronica Virus. As for the strongest ouroboros virus, which combined the advantages of all viruses...

Uh, that thing had yet to produce a single perfect fusion host. Theoretically, that work wasn't even finished, so how could it be put on display?

Therefore, in summary, the G-Virus was also a powerful virus that had not declined due to version changes; it was the most versatile one!

"Heh heh heh..."

While lost in thought, Javier had already begun his transformation. His muscles were swelling at a speed visible to the naked eye. Originally 1.8 meters tall, Javier shot up to the standard two-meter Tyrant level. His limb circumference and skeletal frame expanded, and his skin began to harden rapidly, becoming incredibly tough and coarse.

His fingers became long and sharp, like sickle-like claws, and sharp barbs grew on the backs of his hands. His back was covered with dense spikes. A segmented bone tail even grew from the base of his spine, tipped with a sharp blade. Scales grew on both sides of his lower jaw, and a horn sprouted from his forehead.

Though his physique had undergone a massive change, his overall posture remained tall and lean, rather than the bulky strength of a Tyrant.

Rather than a tyrant, he looked more like the Plaga parasite's Executioner Verdugo—a form focused on speed and agility.

This was Javier's G2 form. He still retained a human appearance; his face hadn't disappeared, he had just grown taller, looking more like a slender leopard!

"Kill...!!!" A raspy voice escaped his throat.

Feeling the changes in his body, Javier didn't hesitate and immediately launched an attack on the group of C-virus Rasklapanje and Strelats before him.

His tall, lean form lunged forward like a vigorous leopard. With ghost-like speed, Javier shot toward the Rasklapanje and Strelats. Closing his sickle-like fingers into a blade shape, combined with the barbs on the back of his hand, the two merged into a sharp blade.

Facing a Rasklapanje in close proximity, Javier in his G2 state swiftly swung this hand-blade, intending to test the power of this strike and see if it could break through the thick muscle armor of the gorilla-like Rasklapanje.

Swish...!!!

Pfft—!!!

To Javier's surprise, the power of this strike was much stronger than he had imagined. The hand-blade slashed down fiercely, creating an airwave and a whistling sound of breaking air.

The gorilla Rasklapanje, seeing the G2 Javier suddenly appear, instinctively raised its thick fist to block, but the sound of a blade entering flesh followed clearly in the next second.

Thud...!

Crack—!!!

As blood splattered, a dark shadow flew into the air—it was the gorilla Rasklapanje's arm.

The entire fist had been severed, flying into the air before tumbling to the ground. The residual airwave from the hand-blade sliced directly into the wall, leaving a deep indentation.

The power was immense; while easily cutting through the muscle armor defense, it still had enough force left to damage the adjacent wall.

This caused Javier to look at his arm with some surprise. Although the G2 state was supposed to increase power, this seemed a bit too strong.

Whoosh—!!!

With a thought, the segmented bone tail connected to G2 Javier's spine suddenly lashed out. The sharp blade at its tip instantly pierced the forehead of the gorilla Rasklapanje before him. The tail blade churned frantically inside the Rasklapanje's brain.

Soon, a bloody hole appeared, and the Rasklapanje's massive body collapsed.

Effortlessly, Javier, in his G2 state, had killed a C-virus Rasklapanje as easily as eating or drinking, like a professional assassin...

Volume 9 Resident Evil 6: Chapter 47 The Third Party

The Rasklapanje's massive figure crashed down. Having easily dealt with this monster, Javier turned his crimson gaze toward the remaining C-virus creatures.

The scene increasingly resembled a brawl between members of a monster association, but there was no helping it—one couldn't obtain the power of a virus and continue using firearms; that would be too troublesome!

"Roar roar roar—!!!"

The death of one of their kind provoked the anger of these C-virus monsters. They let out a series of bellows and roars, charging directly toward Javier. Leading the charge were three or four identical Rasklapanje monsters.

Their massive bodies completely filled the hallway, as terrifying as a head-on charge of rhinos.

Stomp, stomp, stomp...!!!

The ground vibrated, and the floor shook uncontrollably as the three or four Rasklapanje monsters attacked simultaneously.

Opening their foul, bloody maws, they lunged to tear at Javier, while their massive iron fists aimed for his head, intending to crush him instantly.

Whoosh—!!!

However, facing this terrifying onslaught, Javier calmly manipulated the tail blade behind his spine with his mind.

With a swift turn and a tail whip, the sharp tail blade whistled out instantly, forming a circular silver crescent of light in front of him.

The sharp blade immediately struck the faces of the aggressive Rasklapanjes, as well as their swinging iron fists and open maws.

They were all hit by this single slash. The iron fists were severed in the same manner, blood splattering as they were tossed into the air, and their faces were sliced open with deep wounds, several centimeters deep, as horrifying as ravines.

With just one strike, Javier neutralized the offensive of these three or four Rasklapanjes.
