After a few moments of quick movements and the sounds of a few chairs falling over from the suddenness of the noise. Astraea smiled as her children scrambled, enjoying the several antics they had. She calmly walked through the room to the front door, knowing exactly who it was at the door. She opened it with grace, and speed, unable to control her desire to see the new cuties joining her familia today.
"Welcome home, children."
""OH WOW! SHE'S PRETTY!"" Bell and Zaria cheered and immediately went in for a hug.
Suddenly, Astraea's ultimate move, her hugs, was powerless here, for this time she was overcome with the cuteness of the twins.
"Pfft, ahaha! You're so cute!!!" Astraea smiled and giggled. "Welcome home! Come, let's introduce you to everyone else."
"I heard they're all heroes!!! I can't wait!" Zaria cheered with a glowing smile.
"That's right, they're heroes, right? Right?" Bell asked, his eyes beamed with excitement and anticipation.
"Pfft, they're my heroes, and children. Just like you will be soon." Astraea said with a positive glow herself.
While her words caused Bell and Zaria's excitement to grow beyond a fever pitch and reach untold heights, Alise and the others were all so embarrassed by it they all grew various shades of red on their cheeks.
"This red head here is my captain, her name is Alise."
"Hey there little brother, little sister. Call me big sister Alise, or you can call me Scarlet Harnell."
"BIG SISTER HAS A HERO NAME TOO!" Bell shouted out with enthusiasm.
"Pfft, it's an adventurer's second name, everyone gets one once they've leveled once before." Astraea explained, giggling. "But that wouldn't be a bad hero name either."
The rest of the introductions continued until they reached the two elves. Upon which, even Astraea couldn't keep hold of the twins. They jumped down and ran right up to the elves, attempting to give them both a hug. First it was Celty, who felt a shiver run down her spine, but it was a good one.
"Pfft, welcome home you two." Celty said, patting both of their heads.
"Big elf sister!!!! SO! COOL!" Bell expressed.
"I love your ears, they're so cute!!!" Zaria complimented.
"Pfft, thank you, but I'm not the only elf in the familia. I'm sure she'd like a hug too." She said with a teasing snicker.
Bell and Zaria, acting in unison, released Celty and then a sparkle filled their eyes, and then…
"Your ears are cute too!" Bell said and then the twins launched into their assault.
However, Ryuu dodged, bobbed and weaved around several attempts at hugs. "Celty, how could you!"
"Pfft, oh come on they're fine." Celty snickered.
"Hey, Ceraunius, what exactly are these two made of? They're moving like experienced level 1 adventurers." Kaguya asked, with an inquisitive eye.
"We gave them some decent training while we were gone. Took a bit to convince Zeus to actually let them come with us. He may have never said it, but he wanted proof the two could handle it. So they did, and now they're like this, without a falna." Ceraunius chuckled.
"Lord Ceraunius, can you stop them? Please!!?" Ryuu begged.
Ceraunius cringed so hard at the title, and then sighed. "Bell Zaria, you can catch her, just do it already." He smirked.
"EHH!!!" Ryuu complained, crying as she looked over to Gamelia for help.
"You'll soon realize that these two aren't going to give you any of those bad feelings." Gamelia added.
Ryuu looked to Ardee for help next. Which was a mistake, a major one. Ardee smirked and caught Ryuu, slowing her down enough for the twins to catch Ryuu moments later.
"EEP!!" Ryuu felt the embrace of the two kids but quickly realized she'd been running for no reason. "They feel, fine?"
"See Ryuu, Big brother Ceraunius was right. You should trust him and Big Sister Gamelia a little more." Ardee smiled.
"Huh, big brother and sister? But they're spirits, I couldn't be rude like that…"
"Honestly, Ryuu, I'd much prefer you call me big brother, or just my name. The whole Lord thing is a little bit cringe worthy for me." Ceraunius chuckled.
"I feel the same, Ryuu, being familia is what comes first. Titles come dead last." Gamelia added in her own thoughts with a similar, yet nervous giggle. "Anyway, who are these four new faces? New additions to the familia?"
"Three of them are, the girl at level 1 is, Maris Hackard, she was about to suffer from a surprise Infant dragon while she was solo hunting." Kaguya explained with a yawn. "I saved her on my way up from my hunt yesterday, and now she's just sticking around like a baby duckling."
"I already told you, my god threw me out after that." Maris said with a pout. "I came here to thank you for saving me… And then Lady Astraea heard my story and gave me her falna." She continued with an adorable pout.
"Sounds like Lady Astraea can't help herself around what's cute." Gamelia giggled.
"The amazoness twins there were causing problems in the city and joined us after Iska and Alise showed them how much stronger they were." Astraea said, trying to bury the allegations of her weakness to cuties.
"Yep, My name's Tiona, nice to meet you Sir Ceraunius, Miss Gamelia!"
"I'm Tione, the elder…" She puffed out her currently, modest, one still bigger than her sister who wasn't growing at all. "Sister."
"Pfft, don't worry too much, Big sister here knows how to make your boobs grow in." Gamelia smirked, noticing the worried chest patting Tiona was doing.
"And then this cat person is?" Ceraunius said, wanting to move this along. His desire for a child with Gamelia rose to a fever pitch.
"Oh, she was a hired assassin who went after the amazoness twins. Thankfully the twins weren't alone, Iska was with them."
"Meow name is Chloe. That was supposed to be my last mission."
"Was it not?" Ceraunius asked with a raised brow.
"It was! It was!"
"So you're still doing missions then?" Gamelia asked, knowing exactly what Ceraunius was doing here.
"No meow! No meow!" Chloe shook her head side to side. All of her senses told her these two weren't just tough, they were impossible heights.
"Pfft, alright, meow, Lady Astraea, I think it's time. I'm anxious to be in the same familia as my wife." Ceraunius removed his cape, and then his upper shirt.
