Yuna remained standing in front of the bathroom.
Water from her hair was still slowly dripping onto the floor.
She stared at the shower.

"If I shower by myself..."
She paused for a moment.

"You may."
She gave a small nod.
But she did not move right away.
She remained standing in the same spot.
Her hands twisted the edge of the towel.
"...Papa."
"Hm."
"If soap gets in my eyes... it hurts."
"Yes."
"...it happened to me before."

"At school."
She touched the corner of her eye.

"It does."
She looked at the shower again.
Then she said quietly,
"...if Papa is there... I won't be scared."
I did not answer.
She added quickly,
"...Papa doesn't need to shower too."
She pointed to the corner of the bathroom.
"Papa just has to stand there."
