"Since arriving in the capital, Mrs. Torres Mendoza hasn't had anyone she could truly call a friend."
He paused briefly before continuing.
"She left behind her home, her family, and everything familiar to her. Since coming here, she's been surrounded by guards, lawyers, servants, and relatives, but every relationship she's formed has existed because of obligation."
His gaze drifted toward the entrance where the sports car had disappeared from view.
"I think she needs someone who simply enjoys being around her. Someone who isn't assigned to protect her, report to her, or watch over her. Someone she can laugh with without feeling like she's constantly being observed."
