Doña Catalina released a quiet sigh and folded her hands on the table. "Daniella staying in the capital would be safer."
Don Alejandro immediately agreed. "Your mother is right. Let her remain here. You focus on dealing with the Ybarra Family."
Servants continued arranging dishes across the dining table while the conversation remained subdued.
"That's why I said I'll leave her here." His gaze shifted back toward Nicolas. "I'll return to the farm estate this evening, but I'll be back within three days."
Neither Don Alejandro nor Doña Catalina objected.
Compared to the farm estate, the capital residence was protected by significantly more security personnel and surveillance systems. If the Ybarras were truly expanding their search, there was no safer place for Daniella to remain for the time being.
The conversation might have continued if not for the hurried footsteps echoing from the hallway.
Everyone instinctively looked toward the dining room entrance.
