"She's stable," he said after a moment. "No signs of immediate complications."
The nurse handed Santiago a file while the doctor continued speaking in a lower voice. "She'll need proper rest for the next few weeks. Minimal stress. No unnecessary movement. And absolutely no situations like last night again."
The pointedness of the statement did not go unnoticed.
Santiago accepted the papers without reaction. "She can go home?" he asked.
"Yes. But she shouldn't be walking around unnecessarily."
The doctor glanced toward the sleeping woman once more before stepping back. "I'll prescribe supplements and medication. Make sure she eats properly. And if there's any bleeding, pain, dizziness, or strain, bring her back immediately."
Santiago gave a small nod.
The doctor closed the file. "I'll leave the paperwork with Mateo."
Then he and the nurse quietly left the room.
Silence returned once more. Daniella had not stirred through any of it.
