Akane: Motoyasu! We're not the ones that decide who dies and who lives!
Itsuki: *Serious* She's right...You have no right to do this!
Motoyasu: We need to sacrifice someone right? *Glaring* Then Yuuichi should pay for his actions.
How many of our classmates lose their lives today?
Akane: Exactly! And you want to take someone else's life!
Itsuki: You know Motoyasu...If you're so willing to take someone's life, why don't you yours on the line!? Yuuichi didn't do it on purpose!
Ren: *Annoyed* Stop screaming damn it!
Ignoring him, Motoyasu decided to speak.
Motoyasu: *Glaring* He must take responsibility!
Itsuki: I won't allow it! This isn't justice its murder!
Akane: You two enough! We won't sacrifice Yuuichi or Motoyasu. We'll find another way!
Ren: Fuck...We need to be fast. That thing is awfully quiet. I don't like it.
Albeit all of this, what was the right thing to do? To sacrifice an "innocent person" because of a mistake he accidentally did? The situation truly is interesting.
Before they could continue, Yuuichi looks up with tears on his ears, as everyone looks at him.
Yuuichi *Fake crying* Motoyasu is right...I must take responsibility. I want to go by myself...Please leave me alone...
Itsuki: No Yuuichi! It's wasn't your fault!
However, Yuuichi stood up and started to slowly walk towards the Altar. While he did, Kai wondered something.
Kai's thoughts: That face...what is he planning?
As Yuuichi walked toward it, sobbing sounds were heard, as Itsuki glared at Motoyasu and he looked away. In a matter of seconds, he had reached the Altar.
When he did he looked at the symbols. He wasn't able to understand them, as they were neither in any language nor image, whiihe could interpret.
However, before he could say anything, beside him, a small blue fire lit up behind him, and everyone looked shocked. Yuuichi didn't really comprehend what happened and neither did the others.
Motoyasu: W-What!? What's happening!?
Seeing how nothing happened, Ren turned toward Kai.
Ren: Kayaba-kun. Is this not what is supposed to happen?
Akane: Perhaps he has to-
Before Akane could finish, she felt daggers being stabbed behind her back, as she stopped talking.
While that happened, Kai kept looking at the situation. An Altar and instead of dying immediately, a flame lit up.
Kai's thoughts: One flame? what does that mean? Did it not want a sacrifice?
Kai looked around. They were a total of 6 people remaining. None of them could possibly do anything in this situation. They've struggled and struggled. And suffered and suffered.
However, one thought came to mind.
Kai's thoughts: Could it be...
Realizing this, Kai sighed before looking forward.
Kai:.... Can someone help me reach the Altar?
Hearing him, everyone's eyes widen. Motoyasu grabbed Kai and put him on his back.

As they stared at it, many questions arise in their heads. Could they live? Were they actually going to survive?
However, Kai looked around and noticed how one of the flames which were beside them turn off. As it did, the statue's eyes let out a bright color, as they stared to approach them, leaving their once positions. Seeing this, it scares everyone half to death.
Motoyasu: W-What now!?
Yuuichi: They're getting closer.
Akane: Damn it. All of them just started to move.
As they kept getting closer, more of the purple lights kept going out. They truly didn't understand the situation. From one side, the statues were getting close but also from behind. However, the big one didn't. It stayed in place.
Kai kept watching their movements, one by one. When he turned his gaze from one statue, it stopped in its tracks, with a loud stomp. He then looks elsewhere at another, as it also stops. Soon, everyone noticed this, as they try to look at many statues.
Akane: As long as we look at them, they won't stop?
Motoyasu: It's like looking at the ghost in Super Carlos!
As they did, more flames also kept vanishing, as everyone kept their eyes on them. However, anxiety was getting to all, and the first to crack...
Itsuki...We have to leave...
Hearing Itsuki, everyone look at him and saw his determined gaze.
Itsuki: If we go, then we're free. There's no reason to stay here.
Akane: Itsuki-kun, if we go, then statues will kill us!
Itsuki clench his fist in anger. He didn't like this He didn't want to be sacrificed, It wasn't fair for him or anyone else.

Before they could even stop him, the statues that Itsuki was looking at, started to move. When Itsuki step out of circle, one of the purple flames went out. At the same time, the doors slightly closed a bit almost as if it responded to both the flames and Itsuki.
It was still very much open and Itsuki knew that. He ran even faster until he passed the door. When he did, almost was as if he entered water, as it sucked him in.
Seeing how he just disappeared, everyone looks shocked.
Ren: Where did he go!?
Akane: He got out? Kayaba-kun, how is that possible!? He got out alive. Albeit the door closed a little.
However, Kai didn't have an answer. He was also bewildered by this.
Kai's thoughts: What? What is this? A purple flame disappeared after a certain amount of time. One of the blue flames that appeared based on the number of people that were in the Altar, went out as soon as he left. The first commandment is to worship the lord. The second is to the praise the lord. So far, they weren't complicated riddles. But is the open door a trap. A false hope. when all of the purple flames appeared, the door opened. While the doors closed just a little when the purple flames disappear. The door will close once all purple flames are gone. 'Prove your faith' means that even in terror and danger, with sweet temptation, you keep proving your faith. Yes, it must be it.
With it finally clicking, Kai looked at everyone.
Kai: Nobody move! Losing more people will make everything more difficult. If we lose two more, then we'll be unable to look at the statues, then we'll die.
Ren: Kayaba, at least explain before blurting things out!

Motoyasu kept looking forward, not looking at anyone in the eyes.
Motoyasu: To be honest...I never imagined a wimpy loner like you, could be so helpful. I always looked down on you. Seeing you at school being introverted acting all weird bugged me. I never expected a school assignment to play out like this. We've lost 3 people to this room...But those of us that are still alive, including Itsuki, is here because of you... Kai:... Motoyasu...
Suddenly Motoyasu turned around to look at them, as he has tears in his eyes, as they kept going down uncontrollably.
Motoyasu: *Sobbing* But...But...I have a family... friends...I don't want to die here. I don't want to...
Saying that Motoyasu took a step forward.
Ren: Motoyasu!
Akane: Wait, don't!
Motoyasu: I'm sorry everyone...This is all before that, 'power of friendship bastard'...I can't stay here anymore.
As Motoyasu stepped out of the circle the purple flame went out, and Kai looked dejected before screaming out.
Kai: Motoyasu!!!
Tears started to fall from Kai's eyes as Motoyasu's figure reached the door. Ren and Akane wanted to stop him but they could also leave the circle accidentally.
However, Kai thought on what he said.
Kai's thoughts: Thank you. Don't make me laugh! You... Running from here...will result in our deaths.
As the door slightly closed, Ren looked towards the door, before looking back at everyone else.
Ren: The doors nearly closed...It's too late now but i think i get it. *Clenching his fist* Yuuichi, Nishimura...help Kayaba and go...
Hearing him, Akane and Kai looked at him shocked.
Akane: Ren, what are you saying?
Kai: Amaki-san?
Ren: The door won't full close as long as there's at least one person at the altar...The three of you... should save yourselves while you can...
Akane was about to stand however... something happened. Out of nowhere, she had lost the strength of her legs, as she couldn't move.
Akane: M-My legs...I can't move...
Yuuichi: Nishimura-san!
Yuuichi went to check on her, as Ren looked at this and sighed.
Ren: You must be exhausted. You are the one that worked the hardest during the whole evening...
As Kai heard that, he looked toward the door and the statues. He knew that as long as one person remained it would be safe. Which is why...
Kai: Ama-Ren... Yuuichi...Grab Nishimura-san and go.
When they heard that, Ren turned and glared at Kai.
Ren: Dumbass! I said i would stay!
Kai: Three people must go. If one stays, who's to say that the statues won't attack? With one person carrying another only one spot remaining at the altar, it would be too dangerous.
Hearing his reasoning, everyone stayed quiet while Akane had tears in her eyes.
Akane: No wait! I won't allow it. Let me stay here.
Akane started to struggle.
Akane: I won't leave you here to die I won't let another person, close to me d-
Before she could finish, she was hit in the back of the head, causing her mind to go off. As she did, Kai's image was replaced by another student, with black hair as well, as he last thought were this.
Akane's thoughts: Once more. I was saved by someone else. I won't even get the chance to apologize... Kai...Minoru...Why can't i be strong like you bot-
As her body was falling, Ren caught her.
Ren: Sorry, Akane...
Kai: *Grins* You were thinking that i was the best choice to be left behind, weren't you?
However, Ren didn't answer...he didn't want to leave Kai behind, however, he was the one that couldn't move. He had completely lost a leg.
Kai: Take care...Ren..
Ren:...Im sorry...Kai.
With that, Ren started to walk forward, but not before looking back one last time.
Ren: Yuuichi... let's go...
Yuuichi: * Nods*...
With that, both Ren and Yuuichi started to walk forward. As they did, 3 purple flames disappeared from the Altar. Kai looked at them, before looking Yuuichi. One second he was just staring at you worryingly before he suddenly flashed you a sadistic smirk.
As the three left through the door, Kai looked down, tired of everything that happened.
Kai's thoughts: Thank God. At least Ren and Akane are ok but...
Kai thinks back to Yuuichi's evil look in his eyes.
Kai's thoughts: He got away... He won.
Kai then looks forward, seeing the number of statues coming his way. Since he was leaning against the altar, he couldn't see either side of the room, therefore the statues were gonna reach him. He then raises a single fist into the sky, as he accepts his fate, all bloodied and tired.
Kai's thoughts: In the end...I wasn't able to become strong...I remained like this...Not even magic could fix me...
The footsteps got so close, that Kai could literally see how the flames reflected on the statues, making their normal orange lines purple. Kai glares at the monster, with his last bit of defiance.
Kai: Come!
When he said that, the statues with the sword raised it high in the sky before piercing Kai in the chest.
Kai's blood comes out of his mouth, as the pain is unbearable. Not even under any other circumstances where he almost died compared to this. He could feel his insides on fire, even though the weapon wasn't lit.
It then raises it sword high into the air throwing him. When Kai finally fell down, he landed on the top of the Altar, and his blood started to paint it.
The once gray color tiles become fully colored with red blood Kai.
As he felt the pain course through his body, one final thought crossed his mind. As blood and tears left his body.
Kai: thought: I don't wanna...I don't wanna die...!
Kai then thinks back to how Motoyasu apologized and thanked him before running away.
Kai's thoughts: What do you mean thank you!?
Kai then thought about how Yuuichi smirked at him before he left.
Kai's thoughts; He knew that if I was ok, then Ren would have forced him to stay to pay for his mistakes!
Kai then thought of how everyone ended up leaving him there
Kai's thoughts: Quit thinking about all of these betrayal!
Kai then thought of his family his mom and sister...
Kai's thoughts: I don't want to die either! I have a family too! At least they're ok. Stop lying to yourself.
You also want to be ok! He won that bastard knew it! I don't want to die...I need to leave...to find it... The way to become stronger...the way to gain power...
Another of the statues then raise a spear at him, as Kai tried to struggle, yet he couldn't...
Kai's thoughts: If only...I had one more chance...Just one more i would become strong. The strongest in the world! I would fight for it, its injustices...
Kai's thoughts: Even if im not a direct Hero...I would fight from the Shadows! If that's the case...I would be a Hunter of Evil! Give me one last chance, please!!!
As Kai said this, the warrior brought his spear down, stabbing Kai in the chest.
Kai's eyes close, because of tiredness.
However, before the statue finished the attack... Before Kai let out his last breath...The last purple fire has gone out...
From behind Kai's body, a purple and black light covered him and the whole room, as the lord statue watched.
As the light became brighter, it was then suddenly surrounded by shadows...

I honestly can't remember what catalyzed this desire. Ever since I was littleβ¦I was fascinated with heroes and their strength. I wanted to be one. Kid's dream about this. On top of a building, two figures were standing tall, their eyes glowing certain colors. One was glowing in one of his eyes red, while the other other had a dark purple.

The first man that spoke, was one fully clothed in a black, full-body suit, gloves, a domino mask, and boots along with hooded trench coat.This attire is dyed jet black with golden accents. He seems to have black hair.

The other fight had a mostly fully black coat, with black combat boots. His hair was also black, yet his eyes were purple.
In front of them, a whole city was present.
People were going on their day to day life, on horse rides and, carriages. People were olin the market, buying their needs
As the two lords of darkness were watching, a voice
spoke from behind.

Behind them, eight girls stood , all wearing similar outfits to that of the first man.

The second man named Kaiser doesn't look back, however, his figure changed. He becomes surrounded by shadows and slime-like substance, before his outfit change.
Kaiser: Let's go.
As the figured jump the man looks down, before saying one thing.
Kaiser: Come forth...
His shadow begins to expand, as multiple monsters start to come out of him, from the shadows of the girls displayed in the city and many others placed. He landed on a giant shadow dragon, and he soars in the sky along with the rest of his group.
Kai's thoughts: This time. I'll make it. I will protect humanity at all costs, using every bit of my strength. I'll become... humanities hope and Hero!
