The dim light hums overhead.
RILLO sits across from DETECTIVE IKKAR, who scans through his notes from earlier interviews.
IKKAR
Alright, Rillo… Lilo told me that the two of you were taking Drammy home.
He flips a page.
IKKAR (CONT'D)
But he also said he left early. So I'd like to know what happened after that.
Rillo shifts in his seat, uneasy.
RILLO
Uh… well… from what I remember—
The screen slowly fades to black.

Rillo's voice echoes over the darkness.
RILLO (V.O.)
Before Lilo left… he mentioned something.

Rillo, Lilo, and Drammy stumble down the street.
Drammy is barely conscious between them.
RILLO (V.O.)
Lilo was talking about how weird Drammy was being… about his job.
Lilo glances at Drammy suspiciously.
Drammy mumbles incoherently.

He steps away slightly, answering.

LILO
I've got to go. Work emergency.
Lilo lets go of Drammy.
Rillo adjusts, now supporting Drammy alone.
RILLO (V.O.)
After Lilo left… it was just me and Drammy.

Rillo struggles to carry Drammy inside.

Rillo lays Drammy onto the bed.
Drammy barely reacts.

I got him home… put him in bed…
Rillo steps back, breathing heavily.
He looks at Drammy for a moment.
Something unreadable crosses his face.
RILLO (V.O.) (CONT'D)
…and then I left.
The room falls silent.

Rillo finishes speaking.
Ikkar watches him closely.
IKKAR
So… you don't remember much from that night?
Rillo nods quickly.
RILLO
Yeah. Like I said… I was pretty drunk.
A tense pause.
Rillo's eyes sharpen slightly.
Ikkar notices.
IKKAR
Alright…
He closes his notebook slowly.
IKKAR (CONT'D)
If you'll excuse me for a moment, I need to take care of something.
Ikkar stands and exits the room.

Ikkar approaches a uniformed officer: TOBY.
He speaks in a low, urgent tone.
IKKAR
Toby… I think Rillo is the one who killed Drammy.
Toby frowns.
TOBY
What makes you say that?

Jim sits across from Ikkar.

When we found Drammy… Rillo was the first to touch him.
Jim hesitates, thinking carefully.

But I swear… when I first saw him… his body was twitching.

Ikkar's expression darkens.
IKKAR
That means Drammy might've still been alive…
A realization hits both of them.
IKKAR (CONT'D)
…and Rillo was alone with him.
Toby's eyes widen.

Empty.
The chair sits pushed back slightly.
Rillo is gone.
