A machine hums while an officer collects DNA swabs from each of them.

A cop escorts JIM, RILLO, and LILO down the hallway. Their hands are cuffed.
OFFICER
Alright, you three gentlemen. You'll stay in the holding cell while we talk to Arco.
The officer opens a metal door and leads them inside.
The door slams shut.

A small room with a table and two chairs.
ARCO sits across from DETECTIVE IKKAR.
A single lamp lights the table between them.
Arco's eyes are red from crying.
ARCO
(voice breaking)
Please… find Drammy's killer. We were just hanging out yesterday.
Detective Ikkar watches him carefully.
IKKAR
Yes, I understand. But I need to cover all my bases.
Ikkar opens a notebook.
IKKAR
You said you all hung out yesterday. Start from the beginning.
Arco lowers his head.
Tears begin to fall again.
IKKAR
Take your time.
Arco wipes his face, slowly trying to compose himself.
His expression hardens as he prepares to speak.

Jim, Rillo, and Lilo sit on a metal bench behind bars.
The atmosphere is tense.
JIM
This is so dumb. Once we finish this, we'll find the actual killer.
RILLO
Who do you think killed Drammy?
Jim leans back, thinking.
JIM
Not sure… but he disappeared for five years before coming back.
The others look at him.
JIM (CONT'D)
Maybe whatever happened during those five years has something to do with this.
The three sit in uneasy silence.
