She gently closed the doors to her room. As she did, the lantern lit and illuminated the room bringing to focus a multitude of scrolls and books.
On the opposite side of her room was her desk made of black oak as well as her large seat that had been heavily cushioned to add on the level of comfortability.
Her workstation was designed in such a manner that most scribes and scholars would rage at just glancing at it but she didn't really care. Her workstation her choice was what she would always tell them.
As she strode across the room, her white and green gown gently brushed against the wooden floor, partly covering her bare ash grey feet.
She excitedly jumped unto her seat, more of a couch really, and opened the giant brown book that was on top of it.
With no time to waste, she opened the first page, her silvery grey lashes fluttering like butterflies in the air.
She took her time to feel the texture of the blank page and then focused her gaze upon the bottom of the book, reading the words out softly.
"To whom this book shall find.."
What a strange way to begin, she thought to herself.
But anyways, none of that mattered.
She flipped the page and began reading the first words.
