Chapter 161: Understanding Laws
Rhain ignored the person entirely, and continued walking toward an unoccupied seat.
Unexpectedly, the disciple who had spoken earlier stepped forward, and blocked his path.
"Are you deaf? I advise you to be sensible, and leave immediately," he continued in an unfriendly tone. "If Preceptor walks in and catches you impersonating a Gold Badge, you'll be severely punished."
Rhain finally looked at the disciple with the same detached disinterest one might reserve for a buzzing insect.
"I appreciate the concern," Rhain replied flatly, "But I didn't steal anyone's clothes."
Without offering a single word of further explanation, Rhain simply sidestepped the frowning disciple, walked over to a vacant desk near the back corner, and sat down comfortably.
The disciple's face flushed with irritation, but he didn't dare to physically attack someone inside the lecture hall.
