When Scarlate received the exam paper, he calmly looked down at it. He expected the questions to be a little difficult since it was an entrance test for the Magic Academy.
But the moment he read the questions, his expression suddenly became strange.
The paper only had very simple math questions.
10 + 6 = ?
2 – 2 = ?
3 × 1 = ?
Scarlate blinked a few times in disbelief.
"What…? These questions are so simple," She thought.
She looked around the classroom. The other students were staring at their papers seriously and thinking very hard, as if the questions were extremely difficult.
Scarlate felt confused.
"Even a first-grade student could solve these questions easily," he thought in his mind.
Without wasting any more time, Scarlate quickly wrote all the answers on the paper.
It didn't even take five seconds for him to finish the entire test.
She quietly stood up from his seat and walked toward the teacher's desk to submit the paper.
The teacher looked at him with a slightly sympathetic expression and said kindly,
"It's okay if you couldn't solve it. This exam is quite difficult for new students. Try to do better next time."
Scarlate didn't understand what the teacher meant.
"Difficult…?" he wondered silently.
Without arguing, he simply handed over the answer sheet.
The teacher took the paper and looked at it casually.
But the moment he actually checked the answers, his eyes suddenly widened in shock.
Every single answer was correct.
Not even one mistake.
The teacher looked back at the paper again, just to make sure.
"All correct…?"
Then another thought hit his mind.
"Wait… this boy finished the whole exam in just a few seconds.
The teacher stared at the paper in disbelief.
"He solved everything correctly in five seconds… is this boy some kind of genius?
the teacher thought.
Meanwhile, Scarlate had already left the classroom.
As he walked through the academy halls, he kept thinking about the exam.
"The paper was so easy… then why were the other students taking so long to finish it?"
Still confused, he decided to walk around the academy to look at the surroundings.
After wandering for a while, Scarlate eventually reached the academy garden.
The garden was peaceful and quiet. A soft breeze was blowing through the trees, and the sound of rustling leaves made the place feel calm.
But then he noticed someone standing there.
It was the principal of the Magic Academy.
The principal noticed Scarlate and looked at him curiously.
"You finished your exam already?" the principal asked.
Scarlate nodded calmly.
"Yes."
The principal raised his eyebrows in surprise.
"So quickly? Your exam is already finished?"
Scarlate replied in a simple tone,
"Yes… because the exam was very easy."
For a moment, the principal stayed silent.
Then his eyes widened in shock.
"Easy…?" he thought.
The entrance exam of the Magic Academy was supposed to test the intelligence of students.
Yet this boy said it was easy and finished it in just a few minutes.
The principal looked at Scarlate carefully.

"This boy… might be far more talented than he looks."
