Chapter 10 - CHAPTER 10 The Disguised Reality

As Isabela walked down the hallway, the noise hit her before anything else laughter, whispers, and the unmistakable sound of Theodore's name being passed from one group to another like a secret no one could keep.

"Did you see him earlier?""He's so—""I swear, if he asked me—"

She tried not to listen, but it was impossible. His name lingered in every corner, stitched into every conversation. Theodore.

Her grip tightened slightly on the strap of her bag as she kept walking, eyes fixed ahead. She should've been used to it by now. After all, he wasn't just her boyfriend he was that Theodore. The one people admired, talked about, dreamed about.

She was lost in her thoughts when Theodore suddenly appeared. The room seemed to pause as everyone's attention shifted toward them. Before she could react, he leaned in and kissed her on the cheek. Heat rushed to her face instantly—she knew she was blushing, and judging by the looks around them, everyone else noticed too.

"What did you do? Everyone saw it—I'm doomed," Isabela said to Theodore, her voice trembling.

Theodore just smiled and held her hands gently, as if none of it bothered him.

"Why are you smiling?" she demanded, trying to pull away but failing. "This isn't funny!"

Theodore looked at her with determination and said, "Don't worry about them. You're with me now, and no one will dare hurt you."

Isabela smiled softly after hearing Theodore's words, understanding how deeply he cared for her.

Across the distance, Venice witnessed everything. Her eyes followed Isabela, filled with quiet fire. No one would ever take away the love she cherished most.

"It seems like they're together now," Coleen murmured, one of Venice's closest friends.

"Theodore will be mine. No one else's," Venice said firmly.

"You're full of surprises, bro," Leo told Theodore as they entered the classroom.

"You're the famous Theo, and now you already have a girlfriend," Clyde teased him.

Theodore just smiled . And he introduce Isabela to his friends.

"Isabela, nice to meet you, Theodore you can bring her tonight to Stephen's party." Clyde said.

"You wanna come with me?" Theodore asked her.

"As long as I'm with you, I'm in." Isabela replied.

"Alright then, see you two later," Clyde said.

After Class...

He drove her home as the sky slowly turned shades of gold and pink, the world outside soft and unhurried. When they reached her house, Isabela lingered for a moment before stepping out, as if neither of them was quite ready to end the day just yet.

"I'll come back for you later," Theodore said gently.

And as she closed the door and watched him drive away, there was something reassuring in knowing that the evening would bring him back again.

"Hi, Dad. I'll be attending a party tonight," Isabela said as she walked through the door, setting her bag aside while a quiet excitement flickered in her eyes.

"Just be careful… and enjoy it while you're still young," her dad said, his eyes soft with concern and quiet understanding.

Later that evening, after Isabela finished getting ready and gave herself one last look in the mirror, a car beeped outside. She glanced toward the window, already knowing—it must be Theodore, here to pick her up for the party.

"Hey, gorgeous," Theodore said warmly, stepping out of the car to open the door and gently assist her into the passenger seat.

"Thank you," she said with a warm smile.

When they arrived at the party, Clyde was there to welcome them. It was Isabela's first time attending this kind of event, and she couldn't help but feel a mix of excitement and nervousness.

"You made it," Clyde said with a grin, glancing between the two of them. "And nice to meet you again Isabela."

Isabela nodded, offering a polite smile. "Yes, it's nice to meet you."

"Theodore's told me a lot about you," Clyde added, stepping aside to let them in. "Come on, everyone's inside."

Isabela glanced at Theodore for a moment before stepping forward, taking in the music, the lights, and the unfamiliar faces around her. She stayed close to him, both curious and slightly overwhelmed by it all.

Theodore leaned in slightly. "You okay?" he asked softly.

She smiled and nodded. "Yeah."

"Don't worry," he said reassuringly. "I've got you."

Everyone at the party is having a great time, dancing along to the music. Meanwhile, Isabela and Theodore remain seated, simply watching the others.

From across the corner, Venice watches the couple. She feels a deep ache, knowing that Theodore and Isabela are now together.

"Venice, what will you do now?" Trixie asked, a sly smirk playing on her lips.

"She will regret that she messes with me" Venice replied.
