Lin Feng couldn't help but feel a surge of curiosity; it was like a thousand cats were scratching at his brain. He licked his lips, a predatory glint flashing in his eyes.
Alright then.
Tomorrow!
After he bought her that car tomorrow, the natural next step would be to fully claim her. He really wanted to see what kind of "surprise" 100 points of Depravity Value would actually bring.
"You guys head back first. I've got things to do—a dinner meeting tonight," Lin Feng said casually, checking the time on his phone.
When he mentioned the "dinner meeting," he pointedly glanced at Jiang Xiaoya. It was the lie she'd spun earlier, and he had to help her play it off. Besides, since all three of them went to the same school, walking back together was a recipe for disaster.
If Zhou Xiaomeng found out he was roommates with Chen Mo, she'd probably freak out and cut him off instantly. Until she was fully "subdued," his true identity had to stay under wraps.
"Fine, just don't drink too much!" Jiang Xiaoya chirped.
She stepped toward him, and Lin Feng braced himself for another clingy hug. Instead, her hand shot down like a lightning strike—a "Black Tiger Steals the Heart" move—and gripped him right where it mattered.
"Keep this for me and Mo-mo. No using it on any trashy women outside!"
Jiang Xiaoya seemed a little too invested in her role. She genuinely acted like Lin Feng was heading out to some den of iniquity and was firmly asserting her territory. "They're so dirty!"
"Huh? I..."
Hearing this, Zhou Xiaomeng's face paled with a flash of terror. Her instinct was to scream "I don't want it!", but she forced herself to swallow the words. The car wasn't in her hands yet; she couldn't afford to piss him off now.
But the weirdest part? Even though she felt mentally repulsed by the idea of doing that with Lin Feng, the moment Jiang Xiaoya said those words, her resistance flickered. Her body even gave an involuntary shiver.
Her brain started involuntarily filling in the blanks—what if, back on that bed, Lin Feng hadn't just rubbed against her? What if he had... actually pushed inside her?
What would that feel like?
Just the thought sent a strange, tingly ache of emptiness deep into her core. Why am I like this?! Am I actually... looking forward to getting fucked by a guy who isn't my boyfriend?
Zhou Xiaomeng shook her head violently, trying to banish the shameful, chaotic thoughts from her mind.
"Relax, I've got standards," Lin Feng said, feeling the pressure of her hand but keeping his smile cool and collected. "I'm not interested in anything 'unclean.'"
After calling a car for the girls, Lin Feng wandered the mall, treating himself to a few fresh outfits from head to toe before finally grabbing a cab back to campus.
Back at the dorm, Wang Hao and Zhu Dawei looked like they had just rolled in themselves. Wang Hao's computer—usually a 24/7 gaming rig—was only just booting up, while Zhu Dawei was slumped in his chair, face flushed beet-red and reeking of booze, his eyes glazed over.
"How much did you put away?" Lin Feng asked with a chuckle.
"Not... not much. Just seven!" Zhu Dawei slurred, holding up seven wobbly fingers.
"Our class monitor organized a get-together. Sorry we didn't invite you, Lin Feng," Wang Hao said apologetically as he waited for his PC to start.
"Why would you need to invite me?" Lin Feng found Wang Hao's honesty almost cute. "It was your class party; I don't know anyone there. Besides, it's not like I invited you guys to mine. Don't sweat it."
"Hey, I just felt like since we're roommates, us going out and leaving you behind felt a bit shitty!" Wang Hao grinned, scratching his head.
Lin Feng felt a spark of warmth and patted his shoulder. "Forget about it. But why are you back so early? It's barely past seven." He remembered his own class party dragging on until the middle of the night.
At the mention of that, Wang Hao's good mood evaporated. "There was supposed to be a Round 2, but..." He let out a cold snort.
"But what?" Lin Feng pressed, curious.
"But it turned into a 'Simp-Only' event!" Zhu Dawei cut in, his voice dripping with disdain. "The monitor took a few of his cronies and the girls in our class to a KTV. Claimed the room was too small to fit everyone! Bullshit! They just didn't want us killing their vibe!"
"I see," Lin Feng said, looking at the two moping guys. He offered a sympathetic jab, "Didn't you say the girls in your class were pretty mid? They're actually down that bad?"
Hearing that made Wang Hao and Zhu Dawei feel a bit better, but the sting of being ditched like dead weight still sucked.
Seeing them so dejected, Lin Feng smiled and made an offer. "Forget those losers. Tell you what—let's have a dorm party. My treat! Let's do it Wednesday night. We don't have class until Thursday afternoon, so we can sleep in."
At the mention of free food, Zhu Dawei sobered up instantly. "Hell yeah! Where we going?"
Wang Hao perked up too. "How about 'Brothers BBQ' on Food Street? Good flavor, and it's cheap!"
"You can't go all-out on BBQ," Zhu Dawei argued. "I say we hit a buffet. All you can eat! Saves money too!"
Looking at his budget-conscious roommates, Lin Feng felt a pang of nostalgia. If it weren't for the System, he'd be pinching pennies right alongside them. On his old allowance, treating someone to a meal wasn't even a dream—it was a fantasy.
"Alright, listen to me," Lin Feng said, waving a hand with grand authority. "I'm taking you guys to 'Hanhai Grand Feast'—the seafood buffet!"
The room went dead silent.
"Han... Hanhai Grand Feast?!" Zhu Dawei's eyes nearly popped out of his skull. He swallowed hard and stammered, "You mean... the one with the lobsters, king crab legs, and the fresh-shucked oysters?"
"I've heard of that place!" Wang Hao was equally shocked. "It's like 688 per person! That's insane!"
"We're brothers, and it's our first real hang-out. We gotta do it right," Lin Feng said, playing it cool.
Just then, a sudden voice drifted out from Chen Mo's bed.
"In that case, I'm bringing my girlfriend too!"
Chen Mo?!
Three faces went blank with confusion. No one realized the guy had been in the dorm the whole time, hidden behind his bed curtains without making a sound. He only piped up once he heard "688 seafood buffet."
"Holy shit! You're in here? Scared the hell out of me!" Zhu Dawei said, clutching his chest.
"Wow. Mention a freebie and suddenly he's got a voice. Bringing the girlfriend too? Real smooth, 'Financial Major.' You sure know how to count!" Wang Hao snapped back, his voice thick with sarcasm.
