The library appears again.
This time the room is darker.
Only a single candle burns beside the Writer.
The books from the previous editions are stacked on the table.
The Writer looks tired.

"Welcome back, Reader."
He looks outside the window.
Rain falls heavily.
Writer
"Today we'll talk about something difficult."
"Not the Author's past."
"Not TOBI."
"But the person the Author hides from everyone."

🎭 The Mask
Morning.
School.
People.
Noise.
The Author walks through the crowd.
He laughs.
He jokes.
He acts as if nothing bothers him.
Student
"Are you okay?"
Author
"Of course."
He smiles.
But the smile feels empty.
Writer
"The Author created a version of himself for the world."
"A person who didn't care."
"A person who couldn't be hurt."
🏠 Home
The front door closes.
Silence.
The smile disappears.
The Author sits alone in his room.
The walls feel cold.
The world feels quiet.
Writer
"When he came home..."
"He became someone entirely different."
The Author looks at the ceiling.
The tears finally come.
All the words he ignored during the day return.
The insults.
The loneliness.
The pain.
Author
"Why does it still hurt?"
No answer.
🌑 Missing TOBI
The Author returns to the lake.
Again.
And again.
And again.
Author
"TOBI?"
Only wind.
Author
"Please come back."
The water remains silent.
Days become weeks.
Weeks become months.
The Author waits.
Writer
"He wanted to see TOBI one last time."
"Even if only to say goodbye."
But TOBI never appears.
🕯️ The 40,000th Attempt
The Author sits beside the lake.
Exhausted.
Author
"I give up."
The wind blows.
The sky darkens.
And for the first time...
the Author stops searching.
🌌 The Versions
Suddenly.
Small lights appear around him.
Different silhouettes.
Different people.
Different personalities.
Different versions.
Some are kind.
Some are brave.
Some are angry.
Some are lonely.
The Author looks at them.
Author
"Who are you?"
No answer.
But for the first time in a long while...
he is not completely alone.
Writer
"And so..."
"The Versions were born."
Final Scene
The Writer closes another book.
The candle begins to fade.
Writer
"Perhaps everyone wears a mask."
"Perhaps everyone hides their true self."
He looks directly at the Reader.
Writer
"But tell me..."
"Who do you think the Versions represent?"
The library grows dark.
Only the sound of pages turning remains.
