Joshua arrived within 20 minutes. He was either close enough to make this trip quickly, or he had been quite reckless.
Daniel was about to ask him about this when he saw Joshua walk past him into the room and look around.
"So, where is the bastard who snuck inside this place? I would like to see his face as well."
Daniel nodded and led Joshua toward the drawing room, where the man Daniel had hit lay unconscious. He had not shown any signs of waking up from the moment he had been knocked out until now.
Joshua walked toward the man and checked him over first before he sighed.
"This man will be fine. He is just unconscious… probably. But more importantly, I recognize him. He's one of Boss Ren's friend's sons. I think he has an omega sister whom Boss Ren tried to set Ivan up with, but she got rejected. Did he say anything to you?"
Daniel suddenly recalled the words the unconscious alpha had said, and they made much more sense now.
