"Take me with you."
I look at the frowning sister in front of me with a small smile. I kneel and pat her head.
"I am sorry, Petra. However, I cannot take you with me. At least, not now. You are not yet ready to join me in the fight. You need to learn and grow for a little bit before you can. When you are ready, I will take you to the stars and let you conquer worlds to your heart's content. You can then rebuild the worlds you conquer in your image."
She looks at me with her usual unreadable expression, but I can see the emotion behind her eyes. It is chaotic. She is happy and unhappy at the same time. Not only that, but she is also upset with me for leaving her behind and worried about my well-being.
She is such a tsundere. What a cute sister I have.
"Promise?"
"Yes, I promise."
She nods her head but hesitates for some reason. Knowing what she wants, I decide to fulfill it. I hug her tightly and feel her body relax in my embrace. I chuckle a little when I hear a small grumble coming from her as Kassandra joins us. Petra loves Kassandra, but sometimes, the two of them can be a bit competitive.
After hugging them, I take them to the training room. Following one final embrace, I walk to the fabrication room where Ana is preparing my armor. When I enter the room, I can see her standing next to a massive set of golden armor. Upon a closer inspection, I can see a line of silver metal running through the slit of the armor.
"Ana, how is the armor?"
"It is done. What you see in front of you is a masterpiece. It is a combination of many kinds of metal into one, creating a new material I call Celestial Alloy. It combines Auramite, Ceramite, Durasteel, and the living metal, Necrodermis."
I touch the armor, feeling my power slipping as I brush against the metal. The armor eagerly absorbs my power, and I can feel it hum.
"What you are experiencing at the moment is called Harmonization. Because I made it using matter compression and nanite processing, it creates a powerful effect that connects to the particular energy you and anyone connected to you release. Because of the data you gave me from the Stellaris Tech Tree, I can learn more about the Warp, or the Shroud, as you call it. This armor is particularly effective against Warp-based attacks when it is harmonized with anyone possessing the same energy characteristics you produce."
"Does that mean anyone with the Blank gene is able to use the armor?"
"Not really. Your energy is not just the Blank gene. You are somehow able to combine two energies with opposite characteristics, and this armor reacts to that blend. The Necrodermis I use contains what your knowledge calls Noctilith or Blackstone. Because of this material mixed into the process, it rejects all warp-based phenomena from the outside. However, because Auramite is a quantum-inert material, this armor also boosts the internal energy it harmonizes with when used."
"I see. It reduces warp-based attacks coming from the outside but amplifies anything coming from the inside."
"As long as you harmonize with the armor, yes."
"What about the weapons?"
I look at the three weapons next to the armor set. I see a rifle, a sword, and a pistol. However, they are Primarch-sized. The pistol looks like a rifle, while the rifle looks like a mounted weapon.
She touches the rifle and explains.
"This one is called the Gauss Rifle. I modified some of the Necron technology you gave me to make the design more human. I also adjusted how it works. For one, it can now fire at a higher rate in exchange for a slight reduction in range. It is perfect against groups. However, this rifle has a second mode, Charged Mode, that turns it into a cannon. It needs two seconds of charging to fire a larger Gauss blast that can punch through even the densest materials."
"Nice."
"As for the pistol, I followed the blueprint you created. As you know, it fires self-propelled rounds that explode on impact. The Bolter is a fine sidearm. However, just like you wish, I included a small fabricator in the magazine area to continuously produce ammunition. It runs on a small reactor capable of producing up to 2,000 bolter rounds if running non-stop."
That is a small project I am working on to ensure my sons can keep their bolters firing in battle. I am even making a larger version attached to their power packs that can continuously fabricate bullets as needed.
"As for the sword, it is a standard Necron Hyperphase Sword, modified to look human-made. It is twice as effective as anything we have, even with our STCs. I want to modify it further, but the results are not yet satisfactory. It needs more testing."
"Don't beat yourself up about it, Ana. The Necrons are a race that mastered real space. Even at humanity's highest peak, we could not defeat them when they were at theirs."
"I want to say we have a chance, but if this is not their highest level of technology, I am afraid of what they can do at their peak."
"Me too, Ana. Me too. Anyway, can you help me put on the armor?"
"Of course."

| 3rd Person POV |
She has been dreaming lately, dreaming after the beatings and sermons of her 'Father' in this dark dungeon. It is a beautiful dream. She sees a giant of a man, wearing gold, looking at her with dazzling golden eyes. Her dream always pauses as the man offers his hand to her, and then it ends.
She tells her 'Father' about the dream when she first sees it. However, her words make him afraid and angry.
Day by day, her 'Father' tells her that the dream is nothing but a false vision. The man in her vision is nothing but a false prophet who wants to take her away and teach her false truths. Day after day, he beats her senseless, yet his anger grows with each passing day as her body refuses to bow down.
Instead of shrinking, her body grows larger. Her injuries close at a rate that even her 'Father's' followers start to whisper of her divinity. It makes her 'Father' even angrier, and he performs his 'Purification Ritual' even more frequently.
Today is a bit different. Her 'Father' leaves her behind in darkness with only a mug of water and stale bread. She doesn't know what is going on, but she can hear talk about an attacker. She heard about how this attacker is killing all the Believers of the Old Way who try to stop him.
It does not take long for her confusion to turn to fascination as she hears explosions, shouts, and screams of terror coming from the surface. She tilts her head and widens her eyes as she catches something familiar.
It is the same feeling as the Golden Angel in her dream.
For the first time in her short life, she smiles. She begins to focus on the battle outside. She can hear her 'Father's' voice screaming at the others to kill her angel. For some reason, she feel satified when her 'Father' screams in frustration.
It does not take long before the chaos reaches her room.
She sees her 'Father' screaming about her angel being a heretic and how the Old Gods will destroy him. However, before he can say more, the door to her room blasts open, and she sees her angel.
Standing in the doorway is her angel, holding her 'Father' in his hand. She can see a massive hole in the man's body. Her 'Father' is dead, and instead of grieving, she feels relieved. The angel throws away her 'Father's' body and looks at her.
Even with the blood on his armor, she can see his beautiful face smiling at her. It is a smile so bright it soothes her soul. It makes her believe that everything will be okay and that she is now in a safe place.
She knows that her 'Father' was lying to her. Her dream is true, and she is glad her angel is here.
"Hello, sister."
