Minutes passed by slowly.
Theo didn't move, his eyes remaining locked on David and his family.
Even the noises from the entire arena had faded away for him.
All he saw—
Was them.
He balled his fingers into a fist, clenching them tightly.
Then he forced himself to relax again.
Eventually, soft footsteps rang out behind him.
The woman came to a stop by his side.
Without saying a word, she held out a microphone.
Theo glanced at it for a moment, then took it.
The woman let out a soft, amused chuckle.
''The stage is yours,'' she said, gesturing towards David and the arena.
Letting out a deep breath, Theo nodded.
With that, he stepped forward.
All his hesitation, doubt, and even fear vanished in an instant.
'Let's settle this,' he thought, his grip tightening around the microphone.
As he walked, nearby spectators clearly began noticing him.
They turned to him one by one, whispers of confusion and curiosity rapidly spreading.
Theo continued forward.
