Theo glanced at Owen for a moment, one of his eyebrows raised.
'He does care,' he thought. 'He just doesn't want to show it, I guess.'
Owen just winked at him, nodding his head towards one of the machines.
''Sure,'' Theo said, nodding once. ''I'll go in now.''
He glanced over at Rea, searching for confirmation.
But she was still clearly lost in thought as she glanced between the two.
''Can I?'' Theo asked again, tilting his head slightly.
Rea snapped out of it, quickly nodding.
''Yes, yes,'' she said, turning to her laptop. ''I'll get it ready again.''
Theo nodded, a faint smile on his face as he walked towards the machine.
After a few seconds, he got the sign from Rea and stepped inside.
As the lid clicked shut behind him, he couldn't help but let out a sigh.
'This is going to bring out both of my affinities,' he thought, closing his eyes. 'But that was going to happen eventually anyway.'
