We went to the tent after full satisfaction, seeing Christiana was about to sit beside Stephan. I quickly sat in the next seat and pushed her to the left side, making her sit beside me.
Stephan sat at the head of the table. The two men from the development team sat opposite us.
She glared at me, raging so badly, "You don't have much idea about this meeting, why sit beside him?" she barked out.
"Well, I wanted to sit beside my husband. Is it bad to do so?" she bit her tongue shutting her mouth this time.
They started talking about the meeting, diving straight into numbers and plans.
Stephan explained the layout for the eco-friendly housing units, the infrastructure timeline, and how the rural location would cut costs while creating local jobs. One of the men brought up the current issue of rising material costs and some regulatory delays on environmental permits that were threatening the budget.
