Chapter 127 - Chapter 127: Hitogami Attempts to Peek at Your Future Again

"Alright, you haven't rested at all since we got back from traveling. Let's go get something to eat now, and then we can both head back to our dorms and rest properly." Dan Feng spoke gently to Roxy.

Roxy obediently nodded. The little antenna-like strand of hair on her head swayed lightly with her movement, bouncing back and forth, making her look even more adorably innocent.

She carefully rolled up the sheet of paper bearing the Blazing Courage Divine Strike Magic Circle. Since the ink on it had completely dried, the process went smoothly without any issues.

In this way, the Blazing Courage Divine Strike Magic Circle was stored inside Roxy's storage scroll. If needed later, she could quickly take it out, lay it flat, and simply channel mana into it again.

After finishing all this, Dan Feng and Roxy headed together to the cafeteria of Ranoa Magic University, ready to enjoy a hearty meal.

After all, they had only returned less than half a day ago and hadn't eaten anything yet.

Without hesitation, they went straight to the second floor of the cafeteria, where the food was clearly more delicious and appetizing.

From far away, the tantalizing aromas of the dishes already reached them. For the two who were already starving, it felt like pure salvation.

Dan Feng decisively bought a large variety of food for both of them—especially multigrain rice and all kinds of mouthwatering side dishes.

As usual, Roxy also purchased a large amount of the cafeteria's desserts.

For her, worrying about gaining weight wasn't an issue at all. The Migurd race had a special constitution that made it very difficult to put on weight, and they retained a childlike appearance throughout their lives.

Only in old age would they gradually show signs of aging—but that wouldn't happen until after they reached 180 years old.

Dan Feng devoured his portion like a whirlwind, then—as was his habit—leaned back leisurely against the table, gazing fixedly at Roxy without blinking.

His stare was completely unhidden, openly resting on Roxy while she ate.

It didn't take long for Roxy to notice Dan Feng's gaze.

She paused slightly, the spoon in her hand hovering in midair. After thinking for a moment, she decided to break the silence during the meal herself.

She gently scooped up a small piece of apple pie with her spoon and slowly brought it to Dan Feng's mouth, asking softly, "Want to try a bite?" As she spoke, she tilted her head playfully and gave him an adorable smile.

Dan Feng clearly hadn't expected Roxy to do something like this. Looking at the spoon suddenly extended toward him, he froze for a second.

But the hesitation lasted only an instant. Without further delay, he opened his mouth, took the spoon in, and swallowed the piece of apple pie.

Dan Feng savored the apple pie carefully. After a moment, he gave his verdict: "It's very sweet—sweeter than any apple pie I've had before."

Roxy smiled at his words, withdrew her spoon, and scooped up another piece of apple pie for herself.

She didn't seem to mind at all that Dan Feng had just used her spoon, and Dan Feng likewise didn't seem to notice—or care about—the detail.

Soon after, Roxy finished all the desserts. Together with Dan Feng, she left the cafeteria of Ranoa Magic University.

The two strolled along the campus paths, watching students come and go around them. A sense of comfort and ease settled over them.

It felt almost like they had already entered married life—plain and ordinary, yet not without its charm.

Before long, Dan Feng escorted Roxy to the entrance of the girls' dormitory.

"Mm… After you get back, remember to clean your blanket with Water Magic. We've been away for quite a few days, so there's probably a lot of dust on it by now," Dan Feng reminded her.

"Got it!" Roxy nodded, then quickly gave Dan Feng a hug before turning and heading into the girls' dormitory.

Dan Feng then began walking toward the boys' dormitory.

Once he returned to his room, he immediately used Water Magic to wash his cup, blanket, pillow, and everything else, then instantly dried them with a combined Fire and Wind Magic spell.

Just as he finished and was about to rest, there was a knock at his door.

Dan Feng looked puzzled—nobody had ever come to his room looking for him before.

Still, he slowly opened the door and looked at the person standing outside.

"You are…?" Dan Feng asked.

"Hello, Dan Feng. I'm from the student council of Ranoa Magic University. I came to find you because the vice-principal has something to discuss with you, so he asked us to bring you to him," the student council member said with a polite smile, clearly stating his purpose.

"The vice-principal is looking for me?" In his mind, Dan Feng recalled the new vice-principal he had seen that day—an ugly middle-aged man.

"Sorry for the trouble," the student council member said apologetically.

As the saying goes, one doesn't hit a smiling face. Besides, Dan Feng was also somewhat curious about what this vice-principal he had never interacted with wanted from him.

So, Dan Feng followed the student council member.

On the way to the vice-principal's office, the student council member joked lightly, "I heard you're already an S-rank adventurer at such a young age? That's really impressive."

"It's nothing special. You just reach that rank after accepting and completing enough commissions," Dan Feng replied calmly.

"Uh…" The student council member was silenced by Dan Feng's response and didn't speak again.

Soon after, he knocked on the door of the vice-principal's office. After receiving permission from inside, he opened the door and led Dan Feng in.

"Vice-Principal, I've brought him," the student council member said slowly.

"Mm. You can leave first. I have some things I'd like to discuss privately with this student," the vice-principal instructed the student council member to step out—he had words meant only for Dan Feng.

Under Dan Feng's puzzled gaze, the student council member slowly left the vice-principal's office and gently closed the door.

With the door shut, a brief silence fell over the room.

Dan Feng stood quietly in place, his brows slightly furrowed, filled with confusion.

Meanwhile, the vice-principal seated behind the desk seemed completely unaware of Dan Feng's presence. His gaze was fixed in the distance, as though lost in thought about something important.

In truth, at that moment, the vice-principal's consciousness was drifting in the world of nothingness, communicating with Hitogami.

"Lord Hitogami, please take a look at this person's future. That way, we can confirm whether he is the legendary [Imbibitor Lunae]," the vice-principal's voice echoed respectfully in the world of nothingness.

However, unlike usual, Hitogami did not respond to the vice-principal immediately.

He simply stood motionless, stunned—because he could not see Dan Feng, who was standing not far from the vice-principal.

After a long while, Hitogami finally came back to his senses. But on his mosaic face appeared an expression of utter disbelief.

Because when he tried to use future sight to observe Dan Feng's future, what he saw was nothing but blankness!

Moreover, he couldn't even see Dan Feng's appearance through the vice-principal's vision.

[Warning! Hitogami has attempted to peek at your future again. This action has been blocked by the system.]

At that moment, the system's voice suddenly rang in Dan Feng's mind.

The warning instantly put Dan Feng on high alert. His gaze quickly swept across the room and finally settled on the vice-principal.

Dan Feng's eyes sharpened. He stared intently at the vice-principal and said slowly, "May I ask what business the vice-principal has with me today?" His voice was calm, yet it carried an undeniable authority.
