"Boss. Are you sure about this land?" Logan asked his boss, who was busy observing the people at the party while standing in the corner.
Hunter sighed into the phone.
"Not the right question, Logan. If my wife wants it, she should have it," He said in a relaxed tone, watching Sienna, who was talking to Tom.
Though there was unease on her face, he kept his distance. He would only go if she wanted his help.
"Can't we just buy this land and hand it over to her?" Logan asked his boss.
Hunter smiled at that, "She won't like it, Logan. She doesn't appreciate things when they are handed over on a plate. So, no. Let her work for it. Make sure the land doesn't go to anyone else."
"Roger, Boss," Hunter could imagine his secretary saluting him on the other side.

"So…" Tom folded his arms on his chest, too sure of himself with that stupid smirk that he thought made him look more handsome, "Are you here with your loser husband? Ha-ha."
The prick was trying to be funny.
Great!
