Welp, Aunt Miya fucking died. It was evitable really. She was always kind of sickly and Tatsuya's surgery just made it worse. Miyuki was sad, Tatsuya was stoned faced as ever. Tatsuya started working for FLT and created his loop cast system under the name Taurus Silver. His father remarried not even a month later the jackass I told Mother I suspected he was cheating on Aunt Miya. She did not take the news well and started referring to him as sperm donner when brought up in the presence of Tatsuya and Miyuki. Tatsusya smirked at that honestly i don't know if he's so good at pretending to have emotions or they're so muted you basically can't call them real emotions. Mother not so subtlety engaged me to Kuro i honestly didn't see her doing that. I mean she is a Yotsuba despite her being Genetically Modified and her not knowing. Also it was obvious she was attached to me. Still didn't expect Mother to do so.
Going on missions with the 101 battalion was fun, but also boring. I now fully accept the fact that I enjoy violence but there was no one very difficult to fight which was boring. Kuro and i got nicknames. I'm now known as Dragon of Destruction, on the nose and kind of chunni. Kuro is nicknamed Wrathful Hound, again on the nose much. I also donated some of my DNA to the Clan researchers something about next gen versions of the artificial humans we tend to use as guardians in hopes of having them use my intrinsic magic. The experiment worked sort of. they were able to use Dragon slayer magic however it was not mine. They all ended up with some random Elemental version of my magic. Mother made sure that info would not get out but people would eventually figure it out once they were in use. At least the the engineered humans made to use my magic put up a decent fight when fighting me in a group.
Then one day Kuro and I were called to mothers office. As we entered I noticed she was on a call with Tatsuya and Miyuki. The Call was on a large screen on the wall. They had moved out after aunt Miya's death. This made sense considering they were isolated besides Me and the Kuroba twins no one among the younger Yotsuba clan members liked them. Not to mention the fact Miyuki was announced to be a candidate for clan head when mother retired.
"Good now that everyone is here. Now Tatsuya, you and Miyuki wish to go to First High as I said earlier I will allow it however there will be conditions the first condition is no one is to know about either you or Miyuki's connection to our clan. Two no one is allowed to know you are Taurus Sliver or Ryuuya Oguro though I doubt the JSDF would allow that one anyway as your involvement with them is secret from the beginning. My Final condition is that Ryu and Kuro will attend with you partially to monitor you two, and partially because Ryu has expressed interest in going to First High as well." said Mother laying out her terms.
Tatsuya frowned or at least i assumed that's what he did. I was fully aware he wanted freedom from the clan, heck everyone knew.
"Will Ryu interfere with our life in anyway?" Miyuki asked worried I'd probably prevent her time with her precious onii-chan. The anxiousness plastered on her face.
"No, Not unless you do something incredibly stupid or endanger the clan. Honestly I'm mainly using you as an excuse to let Ryu go to first High without the old idiots complaining. Some of them still don't approve him despite him showing he's vastly superior to them in strength and helping the clan, but that's mainly because he doesn't share our blood." said mother looking at me apologetically.
Tatsuya and Miyuki looked relived at that information, mostly Miyuki though.
'Damn bro-con' I thought scowling internally. I don't care if she was genetically altered so she could conceive a child with Tatsuya its still weird and fucked up.
"We accept your terms Aunt Maya." said Tatsuya
"Good, the entrance exams for First High are in a week so i hope you don't mind hosting them for a day or two while I work out getting a place for them nearby I'll be sending them right over." said mother clearly pleased with the response.
'I just realized their is something ironic about me going to First High. Considering it's located in Tokyo the place were i died in my previous life.' i thought in self deprecation.
"Ryu, anything you want to say before I hang up?" asked mother
"Not really, You Kuro?" I said turning my head to my Bodyguard/Fiancé.
"Hmmm, Nope!" said Kuro
"That's fine you two go pack essentials. Tatsuya, Miyuki I'm Hanging up now Ryu and Kuro should be their by the evening." said mother hanging up the call as Kuro and I left room
'Fifteen years that's how long its been since I was reborn a lots changed since then I'm not a scrawny orphan my looks are passable i wouldn't say I'm hot, But I'd say I'm above average in appearance. I'm the same height as Tatsuya was at the start of the series 175cm (5ft9).' I thought
As we walked down the hall to my room Kuro glommed onto me, never did stop doing that, and smiled at me.
'The real physical changes however have been Kuro. she had an outrageous figure and stood at a full 193cm (6ft4). I guess wolf DNA is good for something besides boosting combat potential. In the immortal words of my previous world she thicc.' I thought
When we got to my room Kuro helped me pack my basic necessities like hygiene stuff cloths, and my Bracelet Type CAD, before running off to pack her own stuff. She wasn't my servant or my bodyguard anymore, at least officially. However she refuses to have someone take her previous position saying, "I am the only guard dog Ryu will ever need." It was sweet in a weird kind of way.
Considering Ryu's guard dog was the insult some people called her, but the intent behind it flew right over her head. eventually she thought that was her actual job and started calling herself that. It did shut them up though. I made my way to the front of the house and waited for Kuro. She didn't take long she arrived 5 minutes later.
Some butler I didn't bother to remembers name drove us to the nearest station that is my one complaint about the Yotusba. Not even the amoral inhumane science experiments bother me as much as the fact our clan basically lives in the middle of nowhere.
Eventually we got on a train and arrived in Tokyo mother contacted me to tell me our new residence will be ready Tomorrow so we were only staying at the siblings place for the night. Tatsuya and Miyuki were polite and welcoming probably because I told them we were only staying for the night unfortunately they only had one guest room nothing happened, but it was hard for me to sleep because Kuro likes to sleep nude. well at least I only have to deal with this for one night... right?
Author's Note: You poor damned fool Ryu. For those wondering why Ryu not making a move on Kuro there are two reasons. one the current society of Mahouka sees doing things like that as improper before marriage so even though he has some memories from his past life the majority are gone at this point and he's been raised on that Yotsuba Propaganda for the most part so he's biased in some regards. the second reason is I'm still debating about whether to write lemons or not also know their relationship is kinda forced, but I'm 26 and never been in relationship. So not really sure what to write on that subject honestly if someone wants to give advice on how. I'll make omake flashback chapters of two years after their engagement. anyway next chapter is entrance exams and the First episode stuff after that the pacing should slow down some however it might still be kinda quick I'm realizing how many time skips happened in this by now theirs a lot of them so I'm probably gonna make up some filler events to when canon events aren't happening. Also a lot of people will be wary and even scared of Ryu as unlike Tatsuya he was not told to hide his identity and he is a known combatant like ichijou was. However because of the Yotsubas Infamous reputaion hes got some work to do.
