The vein on Cedric's forehead almost bulged. His hands tightened beneath the table.
He was struggling to contain himself.
Lucien looked down at his plate, clearly fighting the urge to laugh.
Enzo merely shrugged and continued eating, totally ignoring him.
But beneath his calm expression, his mind was already working.
Cedric had just handed him another piece on the political board.
And Enzo had no intention of wasting it.
"Why now? Why take interest in her now after all these years?" Cedric asked through gritted teeth.
"She doesn't even want to stay in the palace."
"And you know where she wants to be?" Enzo asked.
"Yes, I do. With me. And I think it is high time you all let her make her decision."
Cedric's voice was firmer now.
Enzo looked at him for a long moment before chuckling.
