Adrian walked towards the bathing pool with Elara in his arms. None of the maids dared to lift their heads.
Their master was completely naked, his body still stained with blood, and no one was foolish enough to steal a glance. Elara, however, did not care in the slightest.
By the time they reached the bathing pool, the maids had already prepared everything beforehand.
They knew their master's habits well. Once Adrian was done with his bloodbath, which was a normal occurrence within the manor—he would always come here to wash.
Steam rose gently from the large stone pool, carrying with it the soothing scent of herbs and scented oils.
Fresh towels, clean robes, and bottles of bathing liquid had all been neatly arranged around the edge of the pool before the servants quietly excused themselves, leaving only the two of them behind.
