Dannep grew nervous instantly, she was afraid that Cythian would attack Arcelis.
"She could kill her," she told herself as she watched the queens clash.
"Well, it seems the scientist is still angry, you haven't changed since the academy, have you?" Ilyss said in a cold tone.
"Academy? So they studied together?" Dannep thought as she watched Arcelis smile before responding:
"At least I've sacrificed my teammates for more power," said the red-haired woman.
Ilyss frowned as her eyes turned golden, a strong sensation of mana filled the air.
"I see, you want me to—"
"Ilyss, let's go!" said Dannep, grabbing Ilyss's hand.
She looked at her in response, then sighed and turned away, she had let herself get carried away by emotion.
"I'm sorry, darling, I didn't mean to scare you," Ilyss said in a gentle tone.
"Oh? You're this idiot's partner? If I had known, I wouldn't have helped you," said Arcelis as she began walking back toward the hall.
