Alex watched from the sideline as Toran and Dorian fought in the final.
It was... brutal.
Dorian was skilled—three companions moving in perfect sync, flawless strategy.
But Toran was dominant.
His Earth Dragon was level 54, massive and virtually unstoppable. Every blow shook the entire arena.
Dorian held on for eight minutes—longer than anyone else in the tournament.
But eventually, his Golem was crushed. His Elemental scattered. His Wolf eliminated.
And Dorian forfeited.
**"WINNER: TORAN!"**
The crowd erupted with joy—the local champion had retained his title for the fourth consecutive time.
Alex clapped along with everyone else.
A good fight. Both had competed well.
But he couldn't help thinking—if he had made it to the final, if he had faced Toran...
He would have forfeited even faster than against Dorian.
There was no way to beat Toran without using the Fragment. None at all.
