Chapter 10 - Chapter 10

As they left the restaurant, they both kissed deeply.

Her breasts pressed against his chest, then released and they looked at each other knowingly.

"You must be attentive, I will talk to her"

"I appreciate it," he smiled and watched her walk away.

Liam looked with some bitterness at the way back to the mansion, but he still had no choice but to return.

"Once I graduate, I will leave that mansion. They don't want me there, nor do I want anything there. If I become strong I will be able to survive on my own. Yes, I don't need them. I will wait until I graduate," thought Liam who was already close to the perimeter entrance of the mansion's territory.

...

In his room, Liam was even more disgusted to see Lerisia Silveriant, a beautiful young woman with black wavy hair, blue eyes, and pale white skin, dressed in an elegant white and blue dress.

"Liam, I'm sorry. I heard, my brother hit you, are you okay?"

Liam held back, he already knew that despite her pure attitude, she liked to feed herself by seeing other people's misfortunes and then have something to talk about with her friends at the tea parties.

She was an A-rank mage, the same age as him, she was in the Academy in "Class S" and Liam with effort was in the group of "Class D" students.

Liam's excessive effort only allowed him to reach the Class D study group, but some who only saw him as an F class hated him even more when they saw someone who reminded them that they were neither strong nor weak.

"You know, you should think about becoming an instructor for low-level students. No...I'm not insulting you. I'm just saying that those low-level students would learn a lot if they get an instructor like you."

Liam felt a bitter taste, she seemed to be subtly teasing him.

He remembered how his teacher told him that if he acted on impulse he would have to live with it, so he restrained himself and just said:

"Miss Lerisia, I'm tired, I'm going to take a bath soon and then rest.

"Oh! I'm sorry, I know you're trying so hard. Rest. Bye, bye," she said, leaving the room.

She was truly a sweet but poisonous beauty.

"Damn bitch," thought Liam, who actually undressed and went into the bathroom to take a bath.

...

Two days later, Liam was going to enter the training grounds and one of the soldiers approached him.

"Liam, you are not allowed to train here. It is an order from Count Silveriant."

There was even sufficiency in the tone with which that soldier spoke to him.

Liam nodded and heard other soldiers murmur taunts and laugh.

"Damn, they're joining together to provoke me," was the thought of Liam who only returned to his room to dress in the Academy uniform and go to the academic training grounds.

...

Sweat was falling to the ground, Liam had trained quite a bit taking advantage of the fact that he arrived at a time when no one was there.

He was wearing a sleeveless sports sweater, white shorts, and sneakers.

Liam was wiping the sweat from his face with a white towel.

"Wow, he looks handsome."

"Yes, not bad"

Liam put his towel in a backpack and took out a bottle of water.

"Ah! It's that F-Rank loser."

One of the two students bit her lower lip flirtatiously as she saw how some of the water Liam drank fell from his chin to his neck and chest.

"Don't be a bitch"

"I'm sorry"

The two students began to train.

Liam recognized them, they were two students from the Class B study group.

Liam sat down and after resting for five minutes he left the place.

...

It was late, the sky had a somewhat orange color, but there were still two hours left until night, he sat with his backpack on a bench on the edge of a cobblestone path.

He looked at the sky, he had obtained a part of what he wanted but now that he had a part of what he had desired, he wanted to be able to separate from the Count's family and live as he pleased.

"Yeah that would be a good life," muttered Liam who had leaned his back against the back of the bench.

"What would be a good life?" asked a pleasant female voice.
