Seeker Ranking System

1. The Tethered

Description: Initiates who have established a spiritual link but can not yet manifest their artefact. They experience heightened physical senses and strength as their soul begins to sync with the Veiled World.

The Risk: Because their energy is "leaking" and uncontrolled, they are viewed as easy prey for low-level Fallen.

2. The Harmonizers

Description: Seekers who have mastered the "Summoning Rite." They can manifest their Artefact, though its abilities remain dormant. Physical attributes are significantly enhanced, and they gain passive regeneration, allowing them to heal minor wounds rapidly.

The Risk: Their presence in the spiritual frequency becomes a "flare," attracting stronger Fallen who seek to possess their physical body.

3. The Wayfinders

Description: Seekers who can finally trigger their Artefact's active abilities. They begin to perceive and manipulate Spiral Energy. Through meditation, they can expand their internal capacity to store and refine this energy.

- The Risk: Spiral Madness. Absorbing too much energy without refinement leads to insanity. Wayfinders must maintain a "Soul Anchor"—a hobby, a memory, or a person—to stay grounded in reality as the Fallen become aggressively physical in their pursuit.

4. The Weavers

Description: High-level Seekers capable of Spatial Manifestation. By mastering the "Laws of Space," they can make a personal realm into the fabric of reality. They unlock Sub abilities.

The Risk: They can now peer into the Veiled World, but the world peers back. They risk falling into the Abyss if their concentration wavers. Ancient Fallen from the "Sun and Moon Era" will relentlessly hunt Weavers, especially those with compatible elemental affinities.

5. The Sovereign Realm

Description: The pinnacle of Seeker evolution. A Sovereign has achieved Perfect Synthesis, fusing permanently with their Artefact. They command a Law and can drag their personal realm into the physical world, rewriting reality. They possess the "Authority" to strip defeated Sovereigns of their Laws.

The Risk: While Fallen no longer dare to possess them, Sovereigns face the burden of godhood and the constant wars with other Sovereigns.

Artifact Classification

Artefacts are ranked by Resonance Frequency—their ability to pierce the "Veil." An Artefact's power grows exponentially with its age and history.

Trinkets: Low-resonance item. They often fail to manifest because they lack the spiritual mass to overcome the laws of the physical world.

Focusers: Precision tools . They can bypass physical laws to manifest, but their "Stability Duration" is short.

- Conduits: Combat-grade gear. High stability allows them to remain manifested in the physical realm for extended periods.

Relics: Ancient Echoes birthed within the Veiled World. They act as "Potential Multipliers," expanding the user's spiral energy capacity and evolution ceiling.

Primordial Artefacts: Seven unique artefacts of unknown origin. They are the only keys capable of unlocking the core.

The Veiled World: Connection Tiers

The Fringe: A distorted reflection of reality. It is the "hunting ground" for weak Fallen and the first place a Seeker sees when their Artefact awakens.

- The Deep/Abyss: The true heart of the supernatural. Here, gravity is fluid, and time is non-linear. This layer is accessible only when a Seeker activates their realm or advanced abilities. It is home to Elder Fallen.

The Core: The primordial font of all Spiral Energy. A mythic realm that only Sovereigns wielding Primordial Artefacts are rumoured to have seen.
