Chapter 11 - CHAPTER 11: The Hidden Connection

Roxy stood still for a moment after hearing Stalin's words. The hospital. The nurse. The key. Everything that once felt scattered was slowly beginning to connect into something far more disturbing.

"Then that's where we start," Roxy said finally, his voice firm with determination.

Lovely nodded, her expression serious. "But we need to be careful. If this is connected to the hospital, then it's bigger than we thought. We can't afford mistakes."

Stalin, still weak from the earlier collapse, sat upright, gripping the edge of the bed. "This key isn't random," he said. "I've seen it before. I'm sure of it."

Roxy looked at him sharply. "And if you're right, then that hospital is hiding something."

The room fell silent as the weight of that realization settled in.

The key in their possession was no longer just an object.

It was a lead.

Roxy began pacing the room slowly, his mind connecting every piece of information they had gathered so far.

"The drugs… the hospital… the missing evidence…" he muttered. "This isn't random. It's organized."

Lovely watched him carefully. "Which means Smily didn't just become a victim. She was targeted."

The thought made Roxy's chest tighten.

His sister hadn't died by chance.

She had been caught in something far darker.

Roxy clenched his fists.

Jahnae had been close to Smily.

Trusted.

If she was involved, then this wasn't just betrayal.

It was something worse.

"We move carefully," Lovely said firmly. "No accusations without proof. If we act too early, we lose everything."

Stalin nodded in agreement. "We watch her. We gather evidence."

Roxy looked at both of them, his eyes filled with determination.

"We finish this."

There was no hesitation in his voice.

No doubt.

Only resolve.

The three of them stood there, bound by the same purpose.

To uncover the truth.

To expose whoever was responsible.

To bring justice for Smily.

But beneath that determination, something else lingered.

Fear.

Not fear of failure.

But fear of what they might discover.

The deeper they dug, the darker everything became.

The hospital was no longer just a place of treatment.

It was a possible center of secrets.

The drugs were not just substances.

They were tools.

Weapons.

The people involved were not just strangers.

They were closer than expected.

Roxy looked down at the key in his hand.

A small object.

Yet it carried the weight of everything.

"This is the beginning," he said quietly.

Lovely and Stalin didn't respond.

They didn't need to.

They already knew.

Somewhere out there, the truth was waiting.

Hidden behind lies.

Buried beneath silence.

And protected by people who would do anything to keep it that way.

As the night grew darker, one thing became certain.

They were no longer just searching for answers.

They were stepping into something dangerous.

Something that would test their trust.

Their strength.

And their survival.
