Chapter 34 - Chapter 34

Three more days passed. Jordan was growing impatient, yet there was still no unusual movement on Steve's side. At this critical moment, if Steve tried to exploit the situation, he could lose a fortune.

And it wouldn't just be about money—it could attract the attention of the FBI and the SEC. Abnormal stock fluctuations might expose insider trading and leave evidence for federal investigators.

The only good news was that the FBI had temporarily disappeared from view. At least Jordan no longer had to worry about agents lurking outside the bathroom, eavesdropping on private conversations. Luca had truly forced the FBI to pull back.

"Thank you, Dove!!"

Wearing baggy shorts, Jordan stood up on the deck of his 170-foot luxury yacht off Long Island and raised his glass to Jimmy. The party was wild. During this time, Jordan and Jimmy had bonded intensely. Two incredibly greedy minds sharing business instincts—truly birds of a feather. Jordan thought Jimmy would make a perfect stockbroker. Jimmy believed Jordan robbed Wall Street more outrageously than anyone else.

"Thanks, Dove!" Jimmy echoed, hugging the young model beside him.

Then the call came.

Steve had suddenly liquidated his shares in the shoe company.

"Son of a bitch!"

Jordan exploded, shoving the woman beside him away. The news hit like lightning.

He kicked Donnie. "Your damn high school friend is dumping Steve's stock! He's trying to kill me! Dove predicted this—the information is correct!"

Clutching his head, Jordan shouted dramatically, "Greco is my savior! I love him!"

Donnie frowned. "You sure? Could be a rumor."

"The company confirmed it! Only Steve holds that many shares!"

"So what? We were ready. If he wants war, we'll short him into the ground."

Jordan froze… then laughed in relief. "Good thing I listened to Dove."

He grabbed the phone. "Execute the plan! Get clients selling! We short his company. Call the media—release the prepared statements. Expose everything the Information said about Steve!"

Divert attention from the SEC. Paint ourselves as victims.

And so, Steve's Shoes collapsed. Customers dumped shares. Panic spread. Jordan's team shorted aggressively, earning massive commissions through client accounts. Meanwhile, using internal and affiliated accounts, they quietly accumulated shares at rock-bottom prices. Once control was regained, they pumped the stock again for a second wave of profit.

Steve's company spiraled into scandal—financial fraud, inflated earnings, insider trading allegations. Media pressure destroyed his credibility. The SEC shifted focus to Steve.

Jordan walked away clean.

After Steve's fall, Jordan converted 85% of the paper shares into real control and took over the company.

The wolf returned.

CNN: "The Wolf of Wall Street Is Back, Devouring Steve's Shoes."

ABC: "The FBI Failed Again."

Even Luca was surprised. The system considered this… peace?

Technically, Steve had started the betrayal. Jordan simply responded—and stabilized the market afterward.

Abstract. But Luca liked it.

He had also positioned Jimmy early, earning roughly two million dollars. Easy money. Opportunities like this required perfect timing and alignment. Luca had no illusions about being a trading genius.

When it was over, Jordan threw another yacht party for Luca and Jimmy. Fine wine. Beautiful women. And $25 million in cash.

"2.5 million is the deposit. When the FBI fully backs off, you'll get the remaining 3 million. The 500.000 extra ? A bonus—for your intelligence. You saw through Steve. You're heaven-sent, Dove!"

Jordan, wearing only shorts, lunged forward to hug and kiss Luca.

Luca turned pale and shoved him away. "No, no. We Sicilians don't do that."

Jordan laughed. "You must join my company as risk consultant! I don't believe in Anything—I believe in you!"

Luca's foresight seemed prophetic. Preparation had turned disaster into domination.

The party continued. Jordan introduced partners—mostly D-rank character cards with no skills. Ordinary salesmen from his hometown, trained to memorize scripts and cold-call clients, pushing penny stocks from the pink sheets market for enormous commissions.

Legal? Technically yes. Ethical? Questionable.

What was truly illegal was insider trading and manipulation.

On Wall Street, exploiting loopholes was practically tradition.

But the FBI wasn't amused.

Jordan stood on a deck table, preaching to the crowd.

"They say we're wrong? We sell 99% of penny stocks to the richest 1%! What's wrong with that?"

Cheers erupted.

"The real villains are the fat cats in Rolls-Royces draining the middle class with blue-chip schemes! We create miracles! Losing money? That's tuition. Making money? That's the Midas touch!"

He lifted champagne.

"Here's to the SEC and FBI—they'll never understand why people love us. We move money. We create opportunity."

His face twisted into a grin.

"Fuck America!"

The yacht roared like wolves greeting their king.

Luca clapped lightly.

Jordan slung an arm around him.

"Brothers! Applause for our Peace Ambassador—Dove Luca! He brings peace to our company and crushes the FBI! Introduce him to every beautiful woman. Include him in every deal. Feed that Dove until he grows into a bald eagle!"

Wild cheers followed.
