The predator circled us, massive and ancient, eyes like molten embers burning through the mist.
Every step it took made the ground tremble beneath our feet. My pulse thundered, but I was no longer frozen with fear Nyx had awakened fully, claws digging into the earth, muscles coiled, senses heightened beyond human limits.
Nyx: "It wants me… it knows me… it will not touch me. I am mine. I am Lyra. I am fire."

Darian: "Calm… Kael. Let her control it. We fight together… always."
