Chapter 111 - Ch 111- Secretary Kalifa

Then, the remaining five CP9 members followed Rob Lucci out of the restaurant and returned to their rooms.

After Rob Lucci and the others left, Kalifa was clearly far more nervous than before, her emotions fluctuating intensely.

At this moment, she felt like an item, something that could be handed over to anyone at her superior's whim.

Alvin only smiled faintly when he noticed the expression on Kalifa's face. He said nothing and continued eating the unappetizing deep-sea fish dish.

At this stage, what he needed most was a woman who could manage his daily affairs, provide emotional support, and possess outstanding beauty and figure.

As for Rob Lucci and the others, he currently had no intention of recruiting them, and even if he did, it was not something that could be accomplished now.

His earlier actions had merely been a test.

In front of Kalifa and Rob Lucci, he had deliberately acted extremely lecherous.

With the strength and potential he was currently displaying on the seas, would that fool Spandam even consider trying to bring him under control?

He simply had not expected Spandam to actually agree to hand Kalifa over to him.

As for what intelligence Kalifa could gather by staying at his side?

What intelligence did he even have?

Once he gradually revealed the truth about Sheep's House to Kalifa, even if she did not believe it at first, it would still plant a seed of doubt in her mind. Eventually, she would pass that information on to Rob Lucci and the others.

As for loyalty, it was not necessary for now. As long as she had no intention of harming him, Alvin could guarantee that she would live a very comfortable and enjoyable life.

After finishing the unappetizing deep-sea fish, Alvin noticed that Kalifa was still lost in thought.

For a moment, he felt slightly displeased.

"Hey, hey, hey, Miss Kalifa, come back to your senses. I am not some monster that is going to eat you, am I? Why do you look so troubled?" Alvin looked at her with a stern expression and deliberately raised his voice.

Hearing Alvin's voice, Kalifa suddenly snapped out of her thoughts.

She raised her head and looked at the man sitting across from her. He was tall and well-built, with a handsome yet slightly youthful face.

As she observed him, Kalifa quietly began to formulate her own plan.

"I am sorry, Red Hawk. I have not yet adjusted to this change in identity.

Since you want me to follow you from now on, what specific responsibilities will I have?" Kalifa's expression remained composed, but her tone became slightly more gentle,

as if she had temporarily set aside her earlier complicated thoughts and reluctantly accepted her new role.

"That is more like it." Alvin's stern expression gradually softened into a faint smile. "For now, there is no need to worry too much. I have not established any forces yet. Your main responsibility is to accompany me, relax, and enjoy life. Is that not far more comfortable than working as an agent of the World Government?"

"I see, I understand. You are right, this is indeed much more comfortable than being an agent of the World Government." A faint smile appeared on Kalifa's face as she agreed.

However, deep down, she knew that she currently understood nothing about Red Hawk. No matter what he said, agreeing first was the safest choice.

Later, after spending more time with him and learning more about him, she could gradually determine how to complete the mission assigned by her superior.

Just thinking about the difficulty of that mission gave her a headache. As an undercover agent, obtaining valuable intelligence from someone like Red Hawk would be extremely difficult.

After speaking openly, the atmosphere between Alvin and Kalifa became noticeably more relaxed.

Kalifa's way of addressing him also changed. Instead of the respectful yet distant "Sir Red Hawk," she began calling him "Alvin" in a much more familiar tone. To an outsider, they would seem like old friends who had known each other for years.

It had to be said that, as a top agent, her adaptability and social skills were truly impressive.

For the rest of the time, the two remained seated in the booth, chatting casually about various topics.

Alvin occasionally made lighthearted remarks, and Kalifa responded with appropriate expressions, smiling and engaging in the conversation.

Since the bearded uncle had learned of Alvin's identity, he had not appeared in front of him again.

After the heavy snow and hail finally stopped, another day passed. Alvin could no longer suppress his restless nature. Now that they were not far from Chronos Forest, he decided to take Kalifa and head out in advance.

Early in the morning, Alvin brought Kalifa to the restaurant, planning to leave after breakfast.

While eating, Alvin casually asked, "Kalifa, we are leaving after breakfast. Do you want to say goodbye to them?"

At that moment, Rob Lucci and the others were also dining in the restaurant.

Kalifa paused when she heard the question. She subconsciously glanced toward them, but quickly withdrew her gaze as if nothing had happened. She shook her head gently and said, "No need, Alvin. Let us just leave after we finish eating."

"Alright, as you wish," Alvin replied calmly.

The two quickly finished their meal and stood up to leave.

As they passed by Rob Lucci, Alvin suddenly stopped.

This action instantly caused all the CP9 members to tense up, and Kalifa was no exception, her heart rising to her throat.

"Rob Lucci, remember what I told you yesterday. If one day you are abandoned and hunted by the World Government, you can contact Kalifa." After saying this, Alvin turned and walked toward the deck.

Kalifa glanced at Lucci, then quickly followed Alvin.

"Lucci." Kaku looked at him, confusion written all over his face.

Lucci shook his head, his brows tightly furrowed. Red Hawk had repeated this twice. What exactly was he implying?

When they arrived on the deck, Alvin spotted the busy bearded uncle and called out loudly, "Hey, uncle, I am leaving. Thanks for your hospitality yesterday."

The bearded uncle heard his voice and immediately stiffened, as if struck by lightning.

His expression was complicated, carrying both embarrassment and a trace of fear. He stammered, "Hehe, Sir Red Hawk, I did not know your identity yesterday, and I was rather rude..."

Before he could finish, Alvin waved his hand dismissively. "Do not worry, uncle. I am not some bloodthirsty madman. I will not hold it against you. Alright, we are leaving now. Goodbye."

With that, he strode to the ship's railing and jumped without hesitation.

Just as he was about to hit the sea surface, he quickly summoned his jet ski and landed on it steadily.

"Kalifa, let us go!" Alvin called out.

"Coming." Kalifa responded immediately, then leaped into the sea as well, landing precisely behind him on the jet ski.

Before Alvin could say anything, she naturally wrapped her arms around him from behind. She was indeed very perceptive.

"Hold on tight, Kalifa. I will take you for a fast ride across the sea!" Alvin shouted excitedly.

"I am holding on. Let us go, Alvin," Kalifa replied, tightening her grip.

"Then let us go!" Alvin shouted as he started the jet ski and pushed the throttle to its limit.

In an instant, the jet ski shot forward like an arrow released from a bow, moving at incredible speed. The sudden acceleration made Kalifa's face turn pale, and she instinctively held onto Alvin even tighter.

Alvin was in high spirits as he shouted into the wind.

Now he finally understood why so many people longed for this kind of life. The feeling of racing freely across the sea with a beautiful woman was truly exhilarating.
