Chapter 60 - Ch 60- Massacre

Alvin arrived in front of the palace, looking at the tightly shut gates with a trace of disdain in his eyes.

He suddenly lifted his foot and kicked the gate with tremendous force.

"Boom!"

With a thunderous crash, the gate was instantly blasted open. Wooden splinters scattered in every direction.

Alvin strode into the palace courtyard, his figure appearing tall and intimidating beneath the sunlight.

The guards inside the palace saw Alvin force his way in and immediately drew their weapons, preparing to resist.

But their eyes were filled with fear, and their bodies trembled uncontrollably.

"Overestimating yourselves," Alvin snorted coldly.

With a light flick of his Demon Blade Chronicle, a crimson slash flashed through the air. Several guards collapsed instantly, their blood splattering across the ground and staining the marble floor crimson.

Seeing this scene, the remaining guards retreated in terror, not daring to step forward again.

Alvin continued toward the council hall.

His footsteps echoed through the silent palace corridors. Each step sounded like a heavy hammer striking the hearts of those inside.

Inside the council hall, the ministers heard the commotion outside and instantly turned pale.

They gathered close together, as if standing closer would somehow protect them.

"What should we do? He's already inside!"

"We're finished..."

The ministers' voices were filled with despair. They had already resigned themselves to death.

Alvin pushed open the doors of the council hall and walked in.

His cold gaze swept across everyone present as if he were examining livestock waiting to be slaughtered.

"So it was you who ordered that piece of trash Sabrino to kill me?" Alvin said coldly.

Not a single minister dared to answer. They lowered their heads and barely dared to breathe.

"You wanted to kill me. I killed him instead. Now I'm here to eliminate you."

"It's only fair."

Alvin slowly raised his Demon Blade Chronicle, the crimson glow on the blade growing brighter.

"No... please don't kill us! We surrender! We are willing to become your slaves!" One minister suddenly collapsed to his knees, crying and begging.

"Yes! We surrender! Please spare us!" The other ministers followed, kneeling and kowtowing desperately.

"Surrender?"

"Too late."

There was no trace of mercy in Alvin's eyes.

He swung the Demon Blade Chronicle violently, and waves of crimson sword energy swept toward the ministers like a raging storm.

Screams erupted throughout the hall.

One minister after another fell beneath the sword light, their blood soaking the floor of the council chamber.

Alvin stood in the pool of blood, his expression cold and ruthless.

"Ding~"

"Bounty Points +41 million!"

"Bounty Points +34 million!"

"Bounty Points +27 million!"

"Bounty Points +17 million!"

"Bounty Points +8.7 million!"

...

"A total of 127.7 million Bounty Points. At least you were somewhat useful," Alvin said indifferently.

He turned around and walked out of the council hall.

Afterward, he collected all the valuable treasures within the palace before slowly leaving with a satisfied expression.

At this moment, a large number of pirate descendants and guard soldiers had gathered outside the palace.

When they saw Alvin walk out, their eyes filled with fear and despair.

Just then, Alvin heard the roar of battle coming from the distance.

The sound of tens of thousands of civilians surged forward like an unstoppable tide, filled with endless fury and strength.

"Tsk... damn it. Looks like there is still hope," Alvin muttered.

His indifferent gaze swept across the guard soldiers and pirate descendants gathered before the palace.

"Charge!"

"Kill those hateful pirates!"

"Die!"

"Follow Lord Alvin! Kill those pirate descendants and the guards who helped the tyrants!"

"Kill!!!"

The deafening battle cries rapidly approached the palace.

The guards and pirate descendants immediately turned around in horror.

What they saw made their faces turn deathly pale.

An enormous mass of civilians was rushing toward them.

Their expressions were ferocious, as if they wanted to tear them apart.

These same commoners who had once been bullied without resistance now had blazing rage burning in their eyes.

Their faces were filled with hatred and determination.

The people they once treated as worthless trash were now charging at them in overwhelming numbers.

At that moment, fear seized their hearts completely.

They finally realized something.

They were finished.

Alvin glanced indifferently at these terrified figures.

Then he leaped into the air and disappeared from the palace grounds in an instant, heading toward the coastline.

He already knew that the rest no longer required his involvement.

The commoners themselves would end the dark rule of Skull Bay in their own way.

Alvin arrived at the seaside.

The sun was gradually setting, painting the sky in shades of orange and red. The colors reflected across the deep blue sea, creating a magnificent scene.

He took a tent and a carpet out of his **spatial storage**, set up the tent, and then placed a large amount of food on the ground.

He now possessed **402.7 million Bounty Points**.

It was time to strengthen himself.

"System, consume 200 million Bounty Points to enhance advance Swordsmanship!"

"Ding~"

"Enhancement in progress... 3... 2... 1... Enhancement successful!"

Advance Swordsmanship: 20/100

(Can add points, will undergo qualitative change after reaching max level!)

"Hiss!"

"One hundred million Bounty Points only increased ten points of proficiency. Reaching the great Swordsman realm will require one billion Berries!"

Even though Alvin had mentally prepared himself, he was still shocked by the enormous cost.

After all, he intended to strengthen himself in every aspect.

Bounty Points were becoming increasingly scarce.

"System, consume 200 million Bounty Points to enhance Armament Haki, and consume 2.7 million Bounty Points to enhance Physical Strength!"

"Ding~"

"Enhancement in progress... 3... 2... 1... Enhancement successful!"

Armament Haki Proficiency (Normal): 46/100

(Can add points, will undergo qualitative change after reaching max level!)

Physical Strength: 138.7 million Berries level

(Can add points)

After completing the enhancements, Alvin had truly become a pauper with zero Bounty Points remaining.

However, he could clearly feel that his strength had increased several times over.

"Hiss..."

"Just as expected. Every time my physique improves, I get hungry."

After feeling the changes in his body, Alvin sensed a hollow feeling in his stomach.

Fortunately, he had prepared food beforehand.

However, as his physique strengthened, the scar left on his face by Duke of Bones gradually disappeared.

That made Alvin feel a slight sense of regret.

Just as Alvin was about to start eating, he suddenly turned and looked behind him.

It was the commoners.

Tens of thousands of them had gathered around him.

Aside from a trace of fear, their eyes seemed to contain something else.

Gratitude?

Were they here to thank him?

Just the thought made Alvin's skin crawl.

At that moment, the hunched old man appeared again, slowly walking forward with trembling steps.

The next instant, a flood of furious shouting engulfed Alvin.

"You hateful Red Hawk! It was you who turned our Skull Bay into this!"

"Get lost already! Don't ever let us see you again!"

"Take your treasures and get out of Skull Bay! We don't welcome pirates here!"

"Once you've eaten your fill, hurry up and leave!"

"Not a single pirate is a good person! They stole all the treasures of Skull Bay!"

"Pirates only bring disaster. They can never be trusted..."

The crowd shouted angrily.

They threw piles of treasure heavily onto the ground near Alvin, their expressions filled with fury as if they might rush forward and beat him up at any moment.

Alvin stood there completely stunned.

In the flickering firelight, he noticed something.

Their faces were covered in tears.

"Hahahaha!"

"You idiots!"

"I'm a genuine pirate!"

"If I don't steal treasure, what kind of pirate would I be?"

Alvin laughed loudly, his expression wild.

"All of you live well!"

"And wait for me to come back and rob you again next time!"

After saying that, he waved his hand.

All the treasures, along with the tent and food, were instantly stored back into his **spatial storage**.

He then jumped onto his jet ski and sped away from Skull Bay.

On the shore, the commoners silently watched Alvin's figure disappear into the distance.
