Late at night, moonlight like silver gauze poured over the forest beside Sagamia.
Alvin lay comfortably on a soft blanket, sleeping soundly without the slightest worry.
However, Robin beside him found it difficult to fall asleep.
Her heart was in turmoil. Somehow, she had begun to trust Alvin, something she once believed impossible.
She had always thought her heart had long since frozen over, that she would never trust another person again in this lifetime.
Yet after these past few days together, she realized Alvin was someone she could rely on.
That realization sent ripples through her heart like a breeze across still water, refusing to settle.
She looked at the sleeping Alvin and murmured softly, "What an incredible young man. Thank you for letting me feel warmth between people again..."
The next morning, around five o'clock.
Under Isa's command, every gang member in Sagamia mobilized, surrounding the western forest where it met the sea.
If Alvin and Nico Robin intended to leave by sea, this was their best route.
Moving together with these gangs were agents of CP from the World Government.
At the edge of the forest near the coastline, Isa and Ginil stood with several CP agents, their eyes fixed on the shoreline.
Some of the smaller gang leaders looked at the tall figures in suits and sunglasses standing beside Isa. They even saw these agents occasionally issuing orders to their goddess.
An inexplicable anger rose in their hearts.
But despite their resentment, none of them dared to speak.
"Gentlemen, I can guarantee they are hiding somewhere inside this forest," Isa said coldly to Ginil, her expression like frost.
"Very good. If they are truly here, we will recommend you for the position of mayor of Sagamia afterward," Ginil replied in a flat, emotionless tone.
Isa nodded calmly.
Was this not the very reason she was cooperating with him?
Individually, these people were not overwhelmingly powerful, but behind them stood the World Government.
With the backing of the World Government, her path to becoming mayor would be far smoother.
"Everyone, move out!" Isa ordered sharply.
At once, the armed gang members began advancing into the forest from all directions, tightening the encirclement. Their goal was clear. Force Nico Robin and Alvin out into the open.
In the heart of the forest, inside a spacious cave.
Alvin and Robin had just woken up. After packing their belongings, they prepared to depart, planning to leave Asriel today.
At that moment, however, the animals in the forest suddenly grew restless.
"Robin, something is wrong. The gangs have probably already entered the forest," Alvin said, his expression turning serious.
His Observation Haki was not yet strong enough to cover the entire forest.
Robin's face also grew solemn. "Alvin, we need to retreat immediately."
"Understood."
Without hesitation, the two rushed toward the coastline, intending to break through before the encirclement completely sealed them in.
But they were already a step too late.
Before they could reach the edge of the forest, they encountered a group of gang members armed with guns and blades.
Alvin and Robin exchanged a glance and nodded. They understood each other without words.
In the next instant, they shot forward like arrows released from a bow, charging at the weakest point in the enemy formation.
"Twenty Fleur: Clutch!"
Robin acted decisively. Dozens of arms suddenly sprouted from the bodies of the gang members ahead, locking tightly around their throats.
A series of cracking sounds echoed as bones snapped.
In the blink of an eye, more than a dozen gang members were incapacitated.
A gap opened in the encirclement, and Alvin and Robin rushed through without hesitation.
"Target spotted!"
"Orders are to eliminate the male and capture the female alive!"
"Understood!"
The surrounding gangs reacted immediately. Countless bullets rained toward Alvin and Robin.
Gunfire rang out continuously.
Without speaking, Alvin lifted Robin into his arms. Using Observation Haki, he predicted the trajectory of the bullets and dodged them while sprinting at full speed toward the sea.
However, just as they were about to break out of the forest, Alvin abruptly changed direction.
"Alvin, what happened?" Robin asked quickly.
"There are seven people stationed at the coast. Their strength is comparable to Zelas. I can handle two or three at most, but not all seven," Alvin replied gravely.
"Twenty Fleur: Hook!"
Robin called out softly, and more arms bloomed across the battlefield, instantly knocking aside the gang members blocking their path.
Screams echoed once more.
With a serious expression, she added, "Those should be CP agents from the World Government. Their individual strength may not be top tier, but their coordination is extremely precise."
"Stop!"
"Nico Robin, you cannot escape!"
"Bang!"
More gunshots followed in rapid succession.
Alvin held Robin firmly, weaving through the hail of bullets while sprinting south. Robin focused ahead, using her powers to clear obstacles and create a path.
"They have been discovered!" Isa received the report by the sea and immediately looked toward Ginil.
"Chase them!" Ginil ordered.
At once, six CP agents burst into motion, dashing into the forest with explosive speed. Isa followed closely behind.
Several gang leaders stared in shock.
Only now did they realize that their goddess Isa possessed such astonishing strength.
Her speed was even greater than that of the CP agents.
Deep within the dense forest.
Alvin maintained a rapid pace. They had successfully shaken off the ordinary gang members and broken through the outer encirclement.
But to the south there was no coastline, only an expanse of continuous mountains.
Fortunately, the forested mountain range was vast.
It was impossible for the gangs to seal off this entire region, which gave Alvin and Robin a brief opportunity to breathe.
"Alvin, should we rest for a moment?" Robin asked with concern from his arms.
"Not yet. The seven CP agents are still pursuing us. We need to go deeper into the forest. Only there will we have a chance to deal with them," Alvin replied while continuing forward at high speed.
Behind them, the seven CP agents stared at the endless forest ahead, their expressions turning grim.
