"Old Kai, please stop talking—it's quite frightening..." Goku's face showed a strained smile, feeling deeply shocked.
However, for some reason, a trace of excitement and anticipation rose in Goku's heart.
10,000 times stronger than the Shadow Dragon, or even 100,000 or 1 million times.
I didn't expect such a powerful figure existed in this universe.
I must train hard and return to my peak as quickly as possible.
Then I need to surpass myself and reach even higher levels.
"Also, regarding the Dragon Balls, use them however you want." Old Kai said to Goku again. "For example, if your tail really can't grow back, you can wish to Shenron to ask him to restore your tail. That's better than pulling it out forcibly, right?"
"Huh? That's a good idea! How did I not think of that?" Goku's eyes brightened, then he asked with some concern, "Old Kai, are you sure that no matter how we use the Dragon Balls, the Shadow Dragon won't be born?"
"Actually, I'm not entirely sure either..." Old Kai chuckled and scratched his head.
Goku: "..."
"However, one thing I can be certain of is that the timeline you were in probably didn't have Gods of Destruction." Old Kai pondered.
"You mean that guy called Beerus didn't exist?" Goku was confused.
"More or less." Old Kai nodded.
"Although I don't quite understand, I get the gist of it." Goku lowered his head pensively, muttering quietly to himself, then clenched his fists and asked, "So, when will that God of Destruction Beerus approximately appear?"
"At the shortest, ten years. At the longest, twenty years." Old Kai answered.
"Alright! I need to train hard!" Goku reaffirmed his determination to train.
Ten or twenty years from now, someone potentially more terrifying than the Shadow Dragon might be born.
I need to protect my family and companions.
"I'm leaving, Old Kai." Goku waved goodbye to Old Kai.
"Go on, go on." Old Kai waved.
"Whoosh!"
Goku used Instant Transmission and vanished from the spot in a flash.
Seeing Goku disappear, Supreme Kai and Kibito couldn't help but exchange glances.
"Supreme Kai, was that kid just using Instant Transmission?" Kibito suddenly realized.
"Yes, it's a bit like the special technique of the Yardrats." Supreme Kai's brow furrowed slightly.
"It does look like the Yardrats' Instant Transmission." Kibito nodded gently. "That kid left..."
"Let's go over." Supreme Kai said and walked toward Old Kai's direction.
Old Kai had just seen Goku off but suddenly felt something was wrong.
This kid blew me up with such a powerful energy blast, and I haven't settled accounts with him yet.
My whole body still hurts!
"Ow..." Old Kai couldn't help but groan, wincing in pain.
I forgot to punish that kid!
What a mistake!
"Great Ancestor, are you alright?" Supreme Kai stepped forward with concern. "Should Kibito treat you?"
"Do you even need to ask? Hurry up and heal me!" Old Kai huffed and rolled his eyes.
Kibito quickly stepped forward, healing light blooming from his hands and covering Old Kai's body.
Old Kai's injuries were quickly healed.
"Great Ancestor, what exactly happened? What did that man called Son Goku tell you?" Supreme Kai asked curiously.
"Nothing. Don't ask about things you shouldn't ask about." Old Kai rolled his eyes and turned to walk away.
Supreme Kai and Kibito were at a loss for words.
This Great Ancestor's personality is really strange.
Old Kai gradually distanced himself from Supreme Kai and Kibito, then reached into his pants and pulled out a crystal ball.
Then Old Kai held his hands over the crystal ball, chanting under his breath.
"Pop!"
The next moment, a face appeared in the crystal ball.
"Oh my, if it isn't Old Kai! You've already come out of the Z Sword's seal?" Whis smiled and greeted him.
"Lord Whis, hello hello." Old Kai laughed heartily.
"Congratulations on seeing the light of day again." Whis smiled. "Is there something you contacted me about?"
"There is indeed a very important matter I'd like to discuss with Lord Whis." Old Kai then told Whis everything Goku had recounted.
Whis listened silently.
After a moment of silence.
"It seems the timeline that Mr. Son Goku mentioned should be a very special timeline." Whis quickly provided an answer.
"Just as I suspected!" Old Kai nodded, then asked with a grave expression, "It appears that in that timeline, there were no Gods of Destruction or Angels, and seemingly no Grand Zeno either..."
"Yes, that's correct." Whis answered. "Oh my, there are more timelines than hairs on Old Kai's body. All sorts of strange timelines are bound to appear. It's completely normal."
Old Kai: "..."
The hairs on my body?
Why don't you use your own body for comparison?
"Ahem... has Lord Beerus awakened?" Old Kai quickly changed the subject.
"Not yet." Whis shook his head. "According to Lord Beerus's sleeping style, he'll need to sleep for at least another 20 years or so."
"So that guy called the Shadow Dragon won't be born in our timeline, right?" Old Kai asked again.
"That's correct." Whis nodded, then advised, "However, regarding Mr. Son Goku's rebirth, it's best not to let others know... If this matter reaches the Grand Zeno's ears, he might directly erase him, or possibly even erase the entire Seventh Universe."
"I... I understand. I won't speak carelessly." Old Kai shuddered.
...
Earth, the Lookout.
Goku used Instant Transmission and returned to the Lookout in a flash.
"Goku? Where did you go?" Kami quickly stepped forward to ask.
"Ah... Kami... I went to the Supreme Kai's world and talked to Supreme Kai about something." Goku scratched his head and answered.
"Supreme... Supreme Kai?" Kami's eyes widened in shock, his speech becoming somewhat stuttered. "I've heard that Supreme Kai is a greater god than King Kai! He should be the greatest god in this universe!"
"Yes!" Goku nodded, then changed the subject, looking at Kami gravely. "Kami, I suddenly remembered—my tail was originally removed by you, right?"
"That's correct." Kami didn't deny it.
"So, do you have a way to restore my tail?" Goku asked somewhat excitedly.
To be continued…
