Nyssa had always been taught by her mother to be careful and never trust strangers, especially when your mind is not at rest with the person.
"They could be spies out to bring you down," she would say.
But Nyssa barely went out of the palace to even meet a stranger, or talk more of making acquaintances with people she just met.
But now, her mother's words played at the back of her mind. Should she trust this girl? Well, this was literally 'her' she was referring to.
But wait. Everything felt strange. There was no way she was meeting with her past self and she was still alive. Which summed it up. She was dead. Then, what was there to be afraid of in meeting a stranger who was once you a few years back? But then, didn't that mean that 'she' wasn't a stranger?
The little girl walking by her side lifted her eyes and placed them on the taller version of her who seemed to be in an internal battle with her mind.
