Wallace stood silent and gathered his thoughts.
'I need to get rid of that hippowdon before the rain effect vanishes.'
"Go, Ludicolo"
Ludicolo appeared swaying lightly, water rolling off its wide hat.
'Ludicolo, Leech Seed."
Seeds scattered forward and latched onto Hippowdon's hide
Daichi answered immediately.
"Fire Fang."
Flames ignited around Hippowdon's jaws as it lunged again. The burning bite struck Ludicolo directly before it could create space.
The hit was clean.
Ludicolo stumbled back, steam rising from damp skin where the fire connected.
Wallace's expression shifted.
Now they were trading properly.
"Focus Blast."
A dense orb of fighting energy formed and fired forward.
"Hippowdon. Dig."
The massive Pokémon burrowed instantly beneath the wet surface, vanishing just before Focus Blast detonated against the ground.
The field shook.
Ludicolo turned, searching.
Wallace immediately shouted,"Ludicolo, below you"
"Hippowdon—now.", Daichi said trying to seize the opportunity
The ground ruptured beneath Ludicolo. Hippowdon erupted upward, trying to slam Ludicolo from below. However due to Wallace's timely command ludicolo barely evaded.Rain continued to fall.Leech Seed drained steadily.But Hippowdon stood firm.Daichi made the call immediately.
"Hippowdon. Toxic."
Purple globules launched from Hippowdon's mouth, cutting through the rain.Wallace reacted fast.
"Teeter Dance!"
Ludicolo spun suddenly, clapping rhythmically. Distorted waves pulsed outward in erratic patterns.Hippowdon faltered mid-attack.The Toxic veered off course and splashed harmlessly against the wet stone.Hippowdon shook its head heavily.Confused.
Wallace pressed.
"Hydro Pump!"
A massive torrent exploded forward. Hippowdon tried to dodge however the blast hit full force slamming onto it's side.Wallace didn't slow down.
"Another hydro pump"
Ludicolo clapped sharply and shot a massive column of water at hippowdon hitting it once more.Daichi's jaw tightened.Wallace exploited Hippowdon's speed.Wallace commanded Ludicolo once again.
"Giga Drain."
Energy siphoned again.Leech Seed drained.Rain healed. Things started tu take a turn for worse , while hippowdon suffered numerous injuries Ludicolo was almost full health.Daichi had to do something and fast.
"Hippowdon. Yawn."
A deep rumble rolled across the field.Wallace reacted immediately.
"Uproar."
Ludicolo began shouting and dancing rhythmically, preventing sleep.Good counter.Daichi shifted again.
"Toxic."
Large amount of purple sludge sped towards The dancing Ludicolo , Wallace didn't expect hippowdon to have learnt sludge and was therefore careless, Toxic connected.ludicolo stiffened.Poison began spreading.Wallace remained calm.
"Scald."
The blast hit again.Steam burst outward.This time the time additional effect burn appeared in hippowdon.Daichi exhaled sharply.
Hippowdon was breathing heavier now. Poison ticked on Ludicolo.Burn ticked on Hippowdonand lech Seed drained it again. Rain continued. Wallace made a decision.
"Synthesis."
Even under rain, Ludicolo regained moderate health, offsetting poison.Daichi pushed aggression.
"Earthquake."
The tremor hit clean again. Ludicolo barely stayed upright. Now both Pokémon were in dangerous ranges. Wallace leaned forward slightly.
"Hydro Pump. Full power."
The torrent blasted directly into Hippowdon's chest. There wasn't anytime for evasion. Daichi's voice stayed calm.
"Stone Edge."
The pillars erupted again. One missed and the other connected. Ludicolo staggered heavily now. Wallace didn't hesitate.
"Giga Drain."
Green energy surged and struck clean. Hippowdon tried to hold on however it's injuries became far too much for it to handle and Hippowdon collapsed forward. The referee's flag came down.
"Hippowdon is unable to battle!"
Daichi gritted his teeth, he had to come up with a plan fast to counter Wallace's Ludicolo before it restored itself to full health.
Daichi decided and called out
'Flygon Dragon rush".
