Aiden's POV
"Where is he?" I demanded, the glass doors of the hospital still rattling behind me as I gripped the doctor by his coat sleeve.
The physician didn't flinch. He simply nodded and guided me down the sterile, white corridor, stopping outside an intensive care unit. "He is stable now, Alpha Aiden," he explained, adjusting his glasses. "But it would have ended catastrophically if your men hadn't brought him in exactly when they did."
I peered through the observation glass, my heart hammering against my ribs. "What the hell happened to him?"
"We aren't entirely sure yet," the doctor admitted, his expression tight with professional unease. "It is something completely out of the ordinary. When he arrived, his entire body was suffering from total paralysis. He couldn't move a single muscle."
"Do you know who did this to him?" I snarled, the alpha beast clawing at the walls of my chest.
