Chapter 163: Your Negotiation Seems to be Unsuccessful

Madara stood at a high place, looking down coldly at all this. His plan had taken an important step; next was waiting for Uzumaki Naruto's arrival and then completely destroying him... On a night with a high full moon, Naruto and Killer B were rushing to the battlefield at full speed.

They knew that at this moment on the battlefield, their comrades were fighting bloody battles to protect their home. And they had to arrive as soon as possible to contribute their strength to this war.

Both Naruto and Killer B had activated Nine-Tails Chakra Mode, their figures flashing like lightning under the moonlight.

"Naruto..."

Just then, the Nine-Tails' voice suddenly rang in Naruto's mind.

There was a hint of doubt in the Nine-Tails' tone; it seemed somewhat puzzled by Naruto's choice.

"Are you really going to that battlefield?" the Nine-Tails asked. "Do you know how dangerous it is? You might lose your life because of it!"

The Nine-Tails' words gave Naruto a slight pause; he stopped his steps and fell into deep thought.

He remembered the first time he met Sasuke as a child; back then, Sasuke was already burdened with too much hatred and pain.

He remembered the promise he once made to Sasuke, to pull him back from the abyss of hatred.

However, until now, he hadn't fulfilled that promise.

Sasuke was still lost in the darkness, and this war was exactly the best opportunity for him to find Sasuke again.

"Nine-Tails, I know this war is very dangerous." Naruto took a deep breath and said in a firm tone, "But I can't just watch my comrades fight alone. I have things I must protect and tasks I must complete."

Saying so, Naruto's gaze became firm again. He knew he couldn't stop his steps and had to keep moving forward.

"And, I believe I can overcome all difficulties!" Naruto continued. "No matter how strong the enemy is, I will not give up!"

After saying that, he accelerated forward again. Killer B followed closely behind him, their figures tracing a beautiful arc under the moonlight.

The Nine-Tails looked at Naruto's back, a hint of admiration rising in its heart.

In the Medical Unit's tent area, Sakura and Shizune were busy treating the wounded Ninjas.

The tents were filled with a heavy smell of medicine, and the painful moans of Ninjas could be heard occasionally.

Sakura's hands were covered in blood, but her movements were exceptionally skilled. She focused on treating every wounded person's injuries, her expression serious and earnest.

Shizune assisted Sakura from the side, her eyes revealing concern and worry for the wounded.

At this time, Neji arrived at the Medical Unit, supported by his comrades, as his physical strength was exhausted from overusing the Byakugan.

His face was pale, and his body trembled slightly.

Seeing this, Sakura immediately went to meet him; she gently supported Neji and asked softly, "Neji, how are you? Can you still hold on?"

Neji nodded with difficulty; he knew he couldn't fall. In this war, he had to do his part.

However, just as the Medical Unit was doing its best to save the wounded, another accident occurred.

Although they had used Chakra to thoroughly verify the personnel entering the tent area, comrades were still being assassinated one after another.

This made the members of the Medical Unit feel terrified and uneasy. They didn't know how the enemy had managed to sneak in, nor did they know who the next target would be.

"Could there be a spy among us?" a Ninja suddenly spoke.

His words immediately alerted the others. Everyone began to look at each other, trying to find the possible spy.

But everyone looked so innocent and lost; no one knew who the real enemy was.

White Zetsu's figure appeared silently within the unit to which Kiba, Shino, and Hinata belonged.

This sudden enemy broke the original peace, throwing everyone into tension and vigilance.

While searching, the trio of Kiba, Shino, and Hinata suddenly encountered an attack from White Zetsu.

They immediately launched a counterattack, but just as the battle was in full swing, a sudden explosion caught them off guard.

The aftershocks of the explosion forced the three to temporarily scatter and seek cover.

When the smoke from the explosion cleared, the three finally met up safely again.

However, a shadow was cast over their hearts.

"This attack was too sudden," Kiba said with a solemn expression. "We must be more careful."

Hinata also nodded, a hint of unease in her eyes. "Yes, the enemy always seems to find our weaknesses."

Shino frowned, his gaze scanning the two of them. "I always feel something is wrong. This explosion... seems too coincidental."

His words made Kiba and Hinata fall into deep thought.

"Are you saying..." Hinata asked tentatively, "one of us might be..."

She didn't finish her sentence, but the meaning was obvious.

Shino nodded heavily. "Exactly. The possibility that one of the three has been impersonated is quite high. We must be careful and can no longer blindly trust each other."

His words caused a crack to appear in the originally close-knit trio.

They began to look at each other with wary eyes, trying to find a flaw in each other's expressions and actions.

However, the real enemy still remained hidden in the shadows, waiting for the next opportunity to strike.

Kurotsuchi came to the place where Deidara was being held prisoner; she wanted to negotiate with him.

Deidara was firmly bound within a puppet, unable to move. A hint of stubbornness and unwillingness showed in his eyes, but more was the helplessness regarding his current situation.

Kurotsuchi stood before Deidara, staring intently into his eyes, trying to find a breakthrough.

"Deidara, you should know that this war has no meaning anymore," Kurotsuchi said. "Tell me, what exactly is the Akatsuki Organization's plan?"

Deidara raised his head slightly, looking at Kurotsuchi with a cold smirk. "Do you really think I'd tell you? This war is the stage for my artistic creation; I won't let anyone ruin it."

Kurotsuchi frowned, displeased by Deidara's stubborn attitude. But just then, Deidara suddenly changed his tune. "However, I can tell you a piece of interesting news."

"What news?" Kurotsuchi asked instinctively.

"Sasuke... he's still alive." Deidara's words left Kurotsuchi momentarily stunned.

She still remembered that boy from the Chunin Exams years ago—the one with outstanding strength and an aloof personality.

He was actually still alive, and it seemed he had even been drawn into this war.

Kurotsuchi wanted to ask more, but at that moment, the unexpected happened.

The puppet that had been restraining Deidara suddenly let out a loud bang, and immediately after, Deidara broke free from within it.

A White Zetsu disguised as a samurai appeared beside Deidara, looking at Kurotsuchi with a grin. "Your negotiations don't seem to have been very successful."

Deidara stretched his body, a flash of madness in his eyes. "Kurotsuchi, I won't let you destroy my art! To complete my ultimate masterpiece, I have no choice but to make a full escape!"

With that, he turned to flee.
