Alex was calmly sitting in the bed, staring at the wall. He wasn't even blinking. He simply stared the wall as if deep in thought. Though, his thoughts were soon cut short as Devenier stepped into the hospital room. "How boring, isn't it?" Devenier said, looking around the room before sitting. "Being here by all yourself."
"Cut the small talk and get to it," Alex said, his face a bit more serious and cold than usual. "Tell me why you are here."
Devenier smirked. "Do you know that the undead crow organization is being attacked? Two of it's four branches have been completely destroyed. Though, the headquarters is still unscathed as almost nobody knows where it is," he said as if he was delivering bad news to an enemy to make them sad or angry.
Though, despite in such a way of saying it, Alex's expressions didn't change. "And? Did you come here to just say that?"
"Well...not exactly. That was just a little bonus message," Devenier said with a wink. Though, his face soon changed and turned slightly evil, his voice dropping to a whisper. "You're worried, aren't you?"
Alex's eyebrows slightly furrowed. "About what?" He asked.
"About...your wife," Devenier said, his tone almost threatening. "You're worried about your wife...because of Draco, the owl. You're worried that he is going to kill Hazel someday since she is on his list."
"How do you know about that?" Alex said, his face turning serious and slightly angry. "And what are you trying to say?"
"Well...first, let me tell you something before I answer your two questions," Devenier said, starting to do a lot of hand signs all of a sudden as if presenting something. "Draco is currently at the third branch and he is probably going to finish up soon...meaning...he is going to look at the boxes he hasn't ticked. Which includes your wife."
Devenier said, pausing for a small moment to let Alex process before continuing. "And since you are not capable of defeating him even if you weren't injured... I shall make sure that he doesn't get close to your wife."
Alex's eyes narrowed. "And what do you want in return?"
"The owl's death," Devenier said with a slight smirk. "I don't care how you do it or if you can do it. I want him dead since he has an ability that directly counters me, meaning that I cannot kill him but he can always kill me."
"I was already planning to kill him and destroy the entire Red Cross organization," Alex said. "I suppose you have a deal."

Meanwhile, Todd had finally reached the end of the stairs that led to the basement, which was a large auditorium filled with hundreds of seats that circled a large stage, which was auctioning items...and people.
"Employees only, huh?" Todd said, genuinely impressed. "Maybe I should do this for one of my branches," he said before casually taking a seat, watching everything happen in 4k.
At first, it was normal, rare items but slowly got more and more weird. In fact, soon, a female slave was brought onto the stage like an item ready to be sold. And not only that but as soon as the slave stepped up, everyone gasped in awe and excitement. "And for the final item!! An extremely beautiful female slave ready for any command! Starting at thirty thousand dollars!" A voice said, which was be heard throughout the auditorium.
"Fifty thousand dollars!" A wealthy looking man said, raising his sign.
"Two hundred thousand dollars!" Another wealthy man said while raising his sign, who was sitting in the VIP section and was clearly a high level undead crow official.
"One million dollars!" Said Justin, raising his sign, causing everyone to gasp and murmur. In fact, no one tried to bid higher than him, not because they didn't want to spend that much money on slave but because they were scared of him. "Sold to Sir Justin!" The voice said, causing everyone to clap and for the "item" to be sold to him.
"How interesting," Todd said, narrowing his eyes. "When I was making my way here, Lucius teleported to tell me that a blonde haired man would be appointed to the third branch...But it seems like he is more interested in things like this."
"Now then," Todd said, murmuring "time stop", causing everything to freeze and time to stop. "It's time to have some fun."
