"Oh? And can you do that?" Alex said, his cold eyes staring directly at Mr. Crow. "As far as I know, I am the strongest in the room."
Mr. Crow scoffed, "is that so?"
"Well not anymore," Mr. Crow said, pressing a button, causing Devenier to appear out of nowhere.
"You called?" Devenier asked, who looked like he had just been woken up. Even though, it was 4pm.
"Yes, I did," Mr. Crow replied. "Kill Alex. Now."
Devenier rubbed his eyes and glanced over at Alex, then glanced at Mr. Crow. "I don't follow orders of a mere lower-ranking officer like you. Only I can order myself."
"Excuse me? Do you not know who I am? I control the entire fourth branch!" Mr. Crow said, pointing his cigar at Devenier. "I pay for your salary!"
Devenier sighed and whispered in Alex's ear. "I'll handle this, you should go. It isn't worth it," he whispered, giving a small wink at the end.
Alex nodded and left the office, Kael walking alongside him. "Tch, what the hell do I gotta follow this guy anyway? Sure, I may want answers but...ah, whatever," Kael thought.
"So? Where are we goin'?" Kael asked, trying to hide his anger.
"To Elephant City," Alex replied casually. "Also known as Cocaine kingdom. We'll kidnap the drug kingpin, Santiago and ask him for answers."
"Oi, you really think that owl guy was tellin' the truth?" Kael said. "You might be even dumber than I thought."
"We have no other choice. Do you really want to deal with Draco? We almost died saving someone yet alone fighting him," Alex replied almost instantly, it was almost as if he had a reply for everything, which slightly annoyed Kael since he had no reply.
-----------------------
Meanwhile, Draco reached the third branch of the Undead Crow organization, where Elvis Cornevis was currently at. The owl was looking at the list and was quite confused as to why there was [CAUTION] written next to her name. Even Alex didn't have any written next to his name.
"Who the hell is she?" Draco wondered, finally reaching a room, where Elvis was at and healing people. Though, within seconds, Draco killed everyone except Elvis, making her alone.
However, despite everyone getting killed right in front of her, she was unusually calm, in fact, she had a smile on her face. "Oh, my. I didn't think the owl would personally come to kill me."
"Woah...A woman," Draco said with a straight face. "I almost forgot how one looks like," he said, despite having a former girlfriend and seeing women every day on the streets.
"You're as weird as the reports say," Elvis said with a smirk, her eyes slightly narrowed.
"Reports?" Draco said, his eyes sharpening.
"Did you not think that we wouldn't notice people disappearing all of a sudden?" Elvis said. "The headquarters had already found out everything about you after your first kill."
"Hm, crows do have eyes," Draco said, teleporting in front of Elvis, about to behead her. However, before he could, both of his arms twisted and the bones came out of his arm. "Don't underestimate me, I am the strongest woman in the entire organization," Elvis said quite proudly.
"Good for you," Draco said, blinking, causing her powers to be removed for one hour. Which Elvis instantly noticed but wasn't that surprised. However, nothing could prepare her for what came next.
Draco caused her to spit out her saliva with a side kick so fast and powerful that the wall behind her broke and she flew into the next room. "Without your powers, none of you crows are anything," Draco said. "I hate people like you who only rely on their abilities."
Instead of Elvis getting offended or running away, she instead stood up and said, "you're right. I do rely on my abilities too much, which is why I almost never use my realm."
Draco's eyes slightly widened at the word, "realm" because his ability doesn't prevent. realms from being used. "The reports said that your ability only affects powers and blessings," Elvis said, about to mutter something. Though, before she could, Draco appeared in front of her and was about to stab her neck using his sword.
"Do you really think I would let you?" Draco said with a powerful killing intent, which was so strong that Devenier noticed, who was in the fourth branch, causing him to teleport in front of Draco and launch him onto the wall.
he looked around and realized what was happening. "I suppose it's time for me to pay Elvis for all the times she has healed me," Devenier said with a confident smile, about to attack Draco.
"Devenier...huh. It seems that I have to run," Draco said with a serious face, teleporting every millisecond, going to every single corner of the third branch and everything in between. However, Devenier was able to keep up quite easily as he was teleporting at the same time and would always appear right in front of Draco, no matter how fast the owl teleported.
"Weren't you here to hunt us down?" Devenier said with a smirk. "Why run?"
"You aren't on my list," Draco said, teleporting away from the third branch and leaving the area instantly. "To think that I had used my ability on that female crow, because of that, I wasn't able to use it on Devenier," Draco thought. "That was close."
"Was it?" Devenier said, who appeared behind Draco.
-------------------------
At the same time, Kael and Alex had finally reached Elephant City. "To think that I would be here again...thanks a lot," Kael said sarcastically.
"No problem," Alex said with a slight smirk. "Welcome to cocaine kingdom."
