"Uh...what? Being of what? Blessing?" Ken said, opening his eyes, causing the message to disappear.
Behind him, Ronx was fighting the minotaur, dodging it's attacks and doing his own. Every clash made him flinch and this time, a powerful clash made him slightly jump. "Ahhhh! Accept, Accept! Get me out of this!!" He quickly mumbled, trembling.
He said while closing his eyes once again as he was trembling and scared for his life. As soon as he did, another message appeared:
[Blessing accepted]
In the very next moment, he felt a powerful surge of energy and strength following through his veins and every inch of his body. It was as if he was electrocuted ten times over. "WHAT!!! OUCHH!"
Ronx noticed his scream, immediately turning his head, asking in a worried tone, "What happened? Are you okay?!"
"Ignore him, it's probably him being scared for his life" Alex replied calmly, finally reaching the ground, looking high up in the sky, directly at the flying phoenix.
Ronx hesitated but continued fighting the minotaur, the axe of the creature and his sword clashing against one another.
Meanwhile, Ken was experiencing new stages of pain that wasn't humanly possible to feel as a person would die before they could. Through the stages of pain, Ken's personality and looks changed over twenty times in a fraction of a second and eventually, the pain stopped completely.
The only thing that remained was the strength and the energy that he was feeling.
"What is this feeling?! I feel so good! Why do I want to fight so bad!!" Ken said with a smile on his face, rushing towards the minotaur.
"Hey, stay away, you'll get hurt!" Ronx yelled, turning his head slightly.
But Ken's mind was in a different world, he was only fixated on defeating the minotaur as his body really wanted to, he could feel his veins about to pop and his stamina wasn't depleting even a little.
Ken lifted his arms and suddenly, the green transparent walls started to fall from the sky with extreme speed and before Ronx or Alex even realized what was happening, the transparent walls had reached the ground and cut the minotaur's body into several pieces.
Not only that but Ken had also summoned a dozen of those barrier walls on top of the phoenix and even though, the creature dodged some of them, it could not dodge all of them as they were falling at an extreme speed and the barrier walls had summoned in different spots.
The phoenix's wings were slashed off as once the walls touched the creature, it managed to save it's body but not it's wings. Slowly, it started to fall towards the ground as it could not longer fly.
Ronx and Alex was speechless and just watched in shock.
"Ken...? What's...going on here?" Alex slowly said, his calm personality completely destroyed.
"This is so fun! I still have lots of energy, come on, let's fight some more creatures!" Ken said, hopping on his two feet and spinning around.
"Ronx...this isn't Ken, be prepared to attack" Alex said, taking up a stance, about to rush straight at Ken. However, before he could Ken fell to the ground as he not longer felt scared, meaning his strength and energy went back to normal.
Alex immediately rushed over and realized that he was knocked out.
And before they could do anything else, the minotaur started to heal and the phoenix started to evolve into some of a mythical bird, it started to heal and it's wings came back stronger and bigger. It's beak started to grow longer and it's entire body grew stronger and larger.
The minotaur only simply healed just like normal.
This forced Alex and Ronx to fight once again. "Of course, this won't be that easy."
"Take care of the minotaur, I'll deal with the phoenix" Alex said, quickly running towards it before it could fully evolve.
Alex immediately unleashed a barrage of slashes, having extended his sword using his metal powers so he could pierce and slash more of the creature's body.
And after a long moment of continuous slashes, the phoenix finally took it's last breath and completely laid still, securing Alex's victory.
However, Ronx was having much more of a difficult time as he was starting to get exhausted. His breathing got heavier and he being more defensive, mainly blocking the attacks.
Alex rushed over but Ronx stopped him.
"Don't worry, I got this."
Alex stopped, slightly hesitating to move forward.
Ronx rushed straight at the minotaur and the creature high a wide horizontal swing, which Ronx used it to his advantage by sliding below the axe and landing directly in front of the minotaur. Using all of his remaining energy, Ronx inserted his sword into the minotaur, piercing the creature.
The minotaur roared in pain and started to aimlessly swing his axe, which Ronx took advantage of by attacking it with a wide horizontal slash, splitting the creature in half once more, finally killing it.
"Almost thought you were going to die" Alex said, calmly. "Quite risky but oh well."
"More importantly, We have something else to worry about" Alex said while looking at Ken, who was clearly knocked out.

While that was happening, Kenji had the child sitting on his shoulder and had finally reached the rotting peninsula.
"Is this where they are, kid?" Kenji asked, glancing at the child.
"Yes, I am sure. My ability is never wrong!" The child said, holding a tablet of some sort, which had a map of the entire world.
The child then zoomed in with his two fingers, pinpointing their exact location. "They are about twenty miles from here."
Kenji then looked at the child with a suspicious glance. "I thought those kids would be at the base and I would be able to find the base by locating them but it seems that they are in a completely different place...you aren't lying to me, are you?"
The child immediately shook his head. "No! I would never! I would only lie to bad people!"
"Hm...okay but if you try something, I'll cut off your head" Kenji said in a threatening voice.
But before the child could answer, a man appeared. It was Henry, the gentleman.
"My, my, what is a middle-aged man doing all the way here?" Henry said, extending his hand. "Nice to meet you, name's henry."
But Kenji instantly cut off his hand, blood spilling everywhere.
"My, my, that was rather uncalled for, don't you think?" Henry said, taking a few steps back. "Thankfully I have perfectly my pain tolerance or else this would have been quite painful."
"I can tell from your ominous aura that you are an evil person who needs to be eliminated" Kenji replied firmly as if scolding a student.
