The morning was peaceful with the birds singing in harmony, the air fresher then ever.
Ronx woke up, only having slept for a few hours due to what happened at night.
After eating breakfast, Ronx thought that he was going to rest and take it easy, however before he could, he heard a knock on the door.
He opened the door and saw a gray-haired man with gray eyes and a bored look.
"Yo kid, are you the one who defeated the headless man?" The man asked with a straight face.
"Uhm...who are you?" Ronx asked, giving a suspicious look.
The man then took out a red feather from his pocket. "My name is Keth cloven, a member of the organization."
"What do you want?" Ronx asked, slightly annoyed.
"There's an important mission that the organization has given us, they want us to select powerful people for the mission as it is extremely dangerous" Keth answered.
"And why would I join you?" Ronx scoffed.
"The organization said so. It is a mandatory mission for powerful people" Keth answered, getting slightly annoyed at the questions as he just wanted to go home already.
"Why choose me? I am not powerful?" Ronx asked, raising an eyebrow. "I am a mere grade 2."
"You defeated the headless man. That proves your power" Keth answered yet another question.
"But someone helped-" but Ronx could finish his sentence, Keth grabbed him by the collar aggressively.
"Look, buddy, I don't have time for your bullshit" Keth said coldly, staring directly into Ronx's soul. "Follow me."
"Watch your tone" Ronx said in a slightly aggressive manner.
Keth didn't want to fight as he was too lazy and it would be too much trouble.
"You want to come or no?" Keth asked angrily.
Ronx thought for a moment and sighed. "Fine."
With that, Ronx and Keth both sat in a carriage and made their way to the location. They both didn't talk much.
After ten minutes or so, they finally reached their destination: A warehouse located near a fishing village.
As they approached the warehouse, Ronx saw many familiar faces. Alex was leaning onto a wall, Kenji was sitting calmly on a small wooden box, his sword placed close to him.
Furthermore, Blake was also present there and was staring directly at Ronx with an angry expression.
Keth then stood in the middle of the four and said the following in a loud voice, "Now that everyone is here, let me explain the mission."
"This warehouse is owned by a man named Billy fletcher, who is suspected of killing over thirty people, including five children. It is also suspected that he has an extremely powerful ability and secret knowledge of the undead crow organization. It is our job to eliminate him before he becomes troublesome for the organization" Keth explained with a tired expression.
Alex then opened up the entrance to the warehouse and unexpectedly, six giant spiders, the size of a car, rushed outside.
Alex dodged to the right, avoiding the enormous spiders before they could notice him.
"Watch out!" Alex yelled.
Three giant spiders lunged at Kenji, who was still sitting calmly, his eyes closed.
Kenji unsheathed his sword by a few inches and then sheathed it back into place. And as soon as he did, He easily cut the spiders into pieces with a couple of incredibly fast slashes, which he did while still sitting and with his eyes closed.
Meanwhile, one spider jumped towards Keth, who lifted his arm and moved it towards Ronx, making the spider suddenly teleport near Ronx.
"let's see what you can do" Keth said, carefully observing him.
Ronx looked at Keth with an angry expression, "What the hell?"
But Ronx had no time to complain as the spider tried to bite him, which he barely dodged. Ronx then bit his arm, revealing blood. He then hardened the blood into a giant hammer and used it to crush the spider.
Keth looked at Ronx with a slightly impressed expression while Kenji didn't react at all.
The two remaining spiders had hidden nearby and when it was the right time, they ambushed Blake but he turned around and turned his body into steel, causing him to take no damage whatsoever.
He then turned his arms into steel and grabbed both of the spiders, smashing them with each other. "Give me a challenge!" Blake yelled.
"Oh, I will, don't worry." A voice came from above the warehouse.
They all looked in the direction of the voice, seeing a man who was standing on top of the warehouse. He was wearing normal clothes and had round shaped glasses. It was Billy fletcher.
"That's the man" Keth said with a tired tone, he was too lazy to speak louder.
Kenji then stood up and instantly split the entire warehouse into half horizontally, causing the upper half to start falling.
But Billy fletcher didn't react. "That won't work, you know."
Within a few seconds, he disappeared without a trace, leaving a note that read:
"Come to the Grand hotel tonight. If you don't come in time, the entire place will blow up :)"
It was 6:05pm.
They had to hurry because the Grand Hotel was several hours away, meaning they probably won't reach the location in time.
