Aurora sat down and looked at the food before her.
It was a simple meal. Fried rice and some soup, she didn't know the name of. It was still steaming and looked delicious. She could already feel her mouth drool from just looking at it.
"If you have nothing else to do, you can leave."
She heard Caesar speak above her. He didn't look at her as he spoke, eyes directed at the woman behind the counter.
Lina, who was being told to get out, felt like an unwanted guest.
Aggrieved, she glared at him and retorted, "This is my restaurant. I should be the one telling you two to leave!"
Why was she being forced to watch Caesar serve someone else?
Though she felt envious, it wasn't something that was pointed at Aurora. Nor does she feel hatred towards Aurora. It was only because she felt it was unfair that Caesar, whom she had known since they were filthy kids, would cook and feed someone.
"Are you possessed?"
